Historisches B. F. Dowell House

Kommen Sie und genießen Sie dieses schöne 3 Schlafzimmer 3. 5 Bad nach Hause. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Vollbad. Damit ist es möglich, nur die Treppe runter oder das ganze Haus zu mieten. Das Haus wurde in exzellentem Zustand gehalten und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Wohnbereich mit einem Gaskamin zum Entspannen, Lesen oder Chatten mit Freunden. Im Salon finden Sie das Unterhaltungszentrum, in dem Sie fernsehen oder Filme streamen können. Sehr bequem. In der großen Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten oder einen Snack benötigen. Gasherd zum gleichmäßigen Kochen, Geschirrspüler, Gewürze und andere Vorratsgegenstände. Esstisch mit Platz für sechs Personen. Die Waschküche verfügt über zusätzliche Vorräte und ein Handtuch sowie eine kleine Badewanne mit Dusche und WC. Erstaunlich Wrap-around-Deck mit Blick auf die reife Landschaft und die lokalen Hirsche. Perfekter Start in den Tag Kaffee auf dem Deck und vielleicht Wein am Abend. Das Haus ist zwei Blocks von der Innenstadt entfernt und direkt gegenüber dem Markt. Britt ist zu Fuß erreichbar, keine Parkbedenken mehr. Kaufen Sie in den örtlichen Boutiquen ein und essen Sie in einem unserer örtlichen Restaurants. Nicht weit außerhalb der Stadt finden Sie die vielen Weingüter für Weinproben. Diese Liste ist endlos für Aktivitäten. Immer wieder zurück zum einladenden BF Dowell House. Der Preis gilt für eine Belegung mit 2 Personen. Für jede weitere Person wird ein Aufpreis berechnet.

Wonderful reunion

We invited 3 long time couple friends to come visit us in Jacksonville. They stayed in the BF Dowell House and loved it. They wanted to make sure I left a good review because they were so impressed with how clean and well organized it was. They yard was so lovely too. We definitely recommend it!!

Gorgeous, comfortable home.

We were in Jacksonville visiting family and were lucky enough to find this home. It is absolutely gorgeous and fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home. I would love to stay for a month and just read books, take naps, and cook nice meals. Will definitely return.

Beautiful Historical Home

The BF Dowell Home was charming with very unique architecture and beautiful landscaped gardens! There were daily sightings of deer to entertain us! Plenty of outside space and places to relax! Jacksonville was a beautiful small town and we could walk to most of the places we wanted to visit! Walking trails were close by as well as numerous wineries!

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend in Jacksonville with family wine tasting throughout Jacksonville. The location of the property is ideal, walking distance to downtown, coffee, and Back Porch BBQ. The market across the street was super helpful for all the food and drink items...no pre-packing needed. Beautiful old victorian, very clean, and all the amenities were there. We will definitely return!

Quaint two night stay to visit family in the area. Home was period decorated with colorful wall coverings and fixtures. This home also had all the comforts of home, equipped kitchen, games and great porch. Would love to visit again in the summer. Walking to town for dinner and coffe was very easy. Drove and hiked nearby forest park. Great getaway.

Jacksonville Reunion

We visited best friends and family. Attended our old church, Jacksonville Presbyterian. Went to the new Jacksonville Inn Restaurant and enjoy Pony Expresso and Food Bean. We had a family event at a winery in the Applegate Valley. Thank you we love the charm and feel of your beautiful historical home.

Amazing Historical Home

This house was probably the best short term rental I've ever stayed in. It was the best blend of old and new. There are three bedtime, each with it's own bathroom. The bath attached to the bedroom on the first door has only a tub and not a shower but there's also a separate little bath with a shower on the first floor. The host Aldi had a very nice outdoor eating area and porch. The location is very close to downtown, within easy waking distance. We had a fabulous time visiting the area.

Great house

Well appointed, comfortable beds, large welcoming outdoor space and great location. Unfortunately there was construction happening in a property behind the house so it wasnt pleasant out there until they left around 4pm. An issue about Jacksonville now is rentals cannot offer recycling!!! Because that matters to us we brought home bittkes and newspapers.

Great location lovely grounds

My girlfriends & I drove over from the coast to explore the Applegate lavender fields & enjoy quaint Jacksonville. The house was in a good location, clean & well equipped. We did have a little challenge with learning how to work the air conditioning so a guide would’ve been helpful & a place to provide for recycling. Beautiful Home close to everything

We loved our stay here. The house is immaculate, very well decorated, historical background was interesting to read, lovely garden and porch for enjoying a meal or morning coffee. Beds were comfortable and super soft sheets. Perfect place for exploring Jacksonville’s small Main Street, and convenient access to many pleasant laid back Wineries. Will definitely look to stay there again when my group of friends return for a weekend mini-reunion.

Beautiful Historic Home

We stayed a week in May. As others have shared, this is a wonderful historic place to stay situated in an ideal location for easy access to Jacksonville’s shops, restaurants, and hiking. Grocery store convenient directly across the street. Home is beautiful and comfortable. 2 bedrooms en-suite on 2nd floor. Large Master suite on main level w/bathroom w/ large tub, toilet & sink. A shower is located in the laundry room nearby. Well stocked kitchen. This home lacks nothing. Add the fabulous outdoor garden area, porch, and sitting area, and its a 5 star rental. Lawn area for croquet & cornhole games (provided). Deer and birds seen often. We have stayed in numerous VRBO properties & we highly recommend this as an excellent choice.

Tremendous Historic Experience

The house is decorated with very plush furniture. The rooms all have comfortable bed with wonderful comforters. Very cozy sleeping and very quiet as well. Great place to stay.

Lovely house in the heart of Jacksonville!

This is a great historic home in a fantastic location. Easily walkable to shops and to a small grocery store. I highly recommend for anyone who likes historic houses!
