„Staff very friendly and lovely hotel right in the middle of Matlock Bath“

„The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it.“

„Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.“

„Room was clean but dated and could do with a refresh. Evening meal was excellent, I had the steak & Malbec pie and it is one of the best pies I have ever eaten. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, there were two of us and one wanted black pudding and one didn’t but neither got any, nor did we get the fried bread, there were only two juices available, orange and apple (I think) but the orange juice ran out and not replenished although there were staff around. „Ramblers cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable, homely and well equipped with everything you need. Modern but with bags of character and we loved little Jess popping in to visit! Family were lovely and helpful Perfectly placed for local area and lovely walks right on your doorstep. Recommend The Square and Compass at Darley Bridge if you need a dog friendly pub with great food. Only slight negative is the views are mostly of the barn and caravan storage site but this is advised in the ...
