This is a lovely home with lots of living space…it was perfect for our family gathering right after Christmas. We had a wide age range and it was enjoyed by all. The owner was readily available for questions even though she was out of town and very helpful. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!

Diane was extremely helpful with suggestions about the area and food for Thanksgiving. It was easy to reach her with any questions. The house worked wonderfully for three generations to spend the holiday. We would definitely come back!

We rented this home for my son’s wedding, and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. We live in Popponessett, so my daughter-in-law and her parents stayed here, and it provided the ideal space for everyone to gather comfortably. The third floor was especially impressive — my daughter-in-law and her bridal party used it to get ready on the morning of the wedding, and it made for some stunning photos. The house is beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed, with plenty of room for a large group. The men stayed downstairs, and there was space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Truly, the pictures don’t do it justice — this home exceeded our expectations in every way.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home. It was the perfect spot for our bridal parties to get ready for our wedding down at the Poppy tent. This house came equipped with everything we needed and it was stunning with wonderful views.

We had a wonderful vacation! The house was clean and modern with all the necessities needed for a day at the beach - just a three minute walk away! The space was just perfect for our family, which included three young adults. Diane was a wonderful host who also helped provide recommendations during our stay. I hope we will come back next year!

Fantastic family stay

Beautiful, clean, large property. Warm open layout great wifi, great privacy and a great short walk (2 minutes) to the beach!. The owner was always available and friendly. What a great host!. And the grill worked! Plenty of parking; nice kitchen with everything you need. The owner thought through everything. We felt very lucky to be there. Close walk , probably 7 minutes or ride (2 minutes) to the marketplace . Terrific location

This home was very clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was well-stocked for preparing meals, and the beds were comfortable. Our family/friends enjoyed making memories on the third floor deck, at the beach, walking up to the Village and having family meals on the back deck. This was the 4th summer spending our vacation at this home. It was a wonderful way to spend a vacation. Look forward to next year.

Second time is a charm

We loved this house so much the first time we stayed at it three years ago that we booked it again for our annual Cape trip, and once again, it did not disappoint! The house itself is beautiful, incredibly spacious with lots of furniture and rooms to hang out in, the beds are very comfy, and the top-floor deck is still our favorite part of the whole house. The location is great, with the beautiful private beach right across the street, Mashpee Commons super close for great shopping and dining, and the adorable Popponesset Marketplace for evening fun with the family. Would highly recommend this house, and would definitely stay here again.

Best Memory Making Place

This is our third year renting this lovely house. We made such lasting memories with family and friends. The house is perfect. It is spacious and has everything you would need for a family/friend vacation. The beach is a short walk and is spectacular. The Poppy Village area is great to walk to for mini golf, food and music. Look forward to next year!!

Perfect Wedding House!!!

We rented this house over Memorial Day weekend for my daughter and son-in-laws wedding weekend. The bridal party got ready upstairs and we had a separate and perfect place for both hair and makeup and so many beautiful places to sit, talk, and relax....both inside and outside. I could go on and on, but since space is limited I can say with 100% confidence this is the PERFECT WEDDING VENUE HOUSE!! We even took our pre wedding photos here. Absolutely lovely with a partial ocean view, and full ocean breeze! Would love to come back!!

This house impresses without even going inside. Once inside it got even better. Tastefully decorated but still comfortable and welcoming. I wish I had a longer vacation just to spend more time in every room. Great views from the deck. A short walk to the beach and the marketplace. Come down, park your car, and just enjoy.

Blessing of the Bride

This place was the perfect spot for us to stay prior to my daughter’s wedding. There was plenty of room for the comings and goings for the hub of the weddings festivities. The bridesmaids had plenty of space to enjoy Mimosas and brunch on the third floor while getting primped and prepped for the day and night to come while the father, brother and grandparents had plenty of space on the two lower floors to handle last minute preparations. The view of the top deck made for great wedding pictures overseeing the ocean! My daughter and wife could not be happier about the whole experience here. It was the perfect stay for the perfect wedding. The host was awesome and we’re amenable to some personal requests and the property manager was available if and when needed! We were also able to enjoy the beach across the road for a wonderful post wedding reflection! It was close to restaurants, shopping and fun. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just to enjoy a family vacation! Thanks for sharing your property for my daughter’s special day! AWESOME!!!!!

What an amazing spot!

We loved this house. So many different spaces to use, the hosts were gracious and responsive, and the location is unbeatable--right across from the water and walking distance to the marketplace. It's a great place for a big family or multiple families to vacation together!

Wonderful Week in a Wonderful Home

We've been to Poppy 4 times in the last decade, but Diane and Peter's house was by far the best stay we have had. We found it exactly as described on the website and it was in excellent condition. It was very, very clean and ready to go when we walked in. We LOVED the 3 front porches and used the back deck as well. We timed the walk from the front steps to the beach at 90 seconds and when we got there, that part of the beach was very private. The outdoor shower was probably the best Poppy outdoor shower we've seen...it was large, private, and had a side changing room too! Finally, we knew the caretaker, Patrick, was available if we needed him, when he reached out to us early in the week. If we come to Popponesset Beach again, this house would be at the top of our list. Thanks for letting us stay here!

Pretty Perfect

This house was great! The layout of the house was perfect for our group of grandparents, parents , teens, and tweens! There were several gathering spaces so the kids could hang out together and we could all dine together. The porches were great and became our favorite places to sit and enjoy the spectacular views - especially the third floor porch. The owners were accessible, accommodating, and quickly responded to our questions. We were able to walk to the beach in minutes and could also fish in the nearby pond or take a quick walk to get to the marketplace. Two grocery stores were within a ten minute drive. It was an ideal location and a great house!

Beautiful house in a great location

The house was spacious and beautiful and we loved the rooftop deck! The location was perfect and a very short walk to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone- can accommodate at least a couple families if needed. They had plenty of beach towels and a few beach chairs and umbrellas too! Very helpful to not have to worry about buying that when we got there. The marketplace was really cute and was a fun place to hang out and eat. Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Perfectly peaceful

What an amazing stay! The six of us were able to hang to get eve but also have alone time. The beach was peaceful and so easy to get to. And if you have kids that like to fish…the freshwater pond is just 75 yards away. The Marketplace is just a half mile walk and offers boutique shopping, mini golf on the weekend and a few restaurants and amenities. We enjoyed not being in the hustle and bustle of some of the areas of the cape.
