„We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin.“

„Troy’s cabin is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lake is literally just steps away from the door, and there are lots of windows and doors that look out over the water. A pair of geese with 3 chicks hung out right next to us, as did a mallard duck. The location is handy to many places downeast. Troy was helpful and even brought us some local coffee. We can’t recommend his place enough!“

„Not only is the cabin gorgeous but the location and the property could not be better for a quiet escape in the woods. The pups loved swimming in the lake. The star viewing is also unmatched. The whole experience is perfect. “

„Very nice cottage , and clean. the Picture on your site, makes the Cottage look like it was right on the beach , which it is not. Its on a cliff, which was fine for us , but not fine for children. This is why We took 1 star away from the on line listing“

„Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. Charlie delivered lobsters every other day, and at $5/lb we certainly over indulged! The house is older, and has a ton ...

„we had a great experience and the owners are kind and helpful. They prepared us for that place within an hour. It wasn't easy to reach that place (due to the gravel road). Other than that, the place is nice.“

„Das Haus war traumhaft schön und hatte alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Es ist super gelegen und wir hatten das große Glück ein Feuerwerk in unmittelbarer Nähe unseres Hauses zu sehen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Morgens wach zu werden und aus dem Fenster aufs Wasser zu schauen war Entspannung pur. Als kleine Anmerkung: uns haben Schränke für die Aufbewahrung unserer Kleidung gefehlt, bei einem Aufenthalt von mindestens einer Woche ist es nicht so schön aus dem Koffer ...

„Wir haben mit unseren drei Jungs und der Familie meiner Schwester zwei Wochen an diesem wunderschönen Ort verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, schön eingerichtet, geräumig und super ausgestattet mit einer wunderbaren Terrasse mit Sicht aufs Meer. Man kann hier die Ruhe und Natur sehr geniessen und den Hummerbooten zuschauen. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind fantastisch. Der private Strand mit feinem Sand und das flachabfallende Meer ist perfekt auch zum baden. Bei Ebbe gibt es für die Kinder ...

„Very quiet house by the sea. The owner is very friendly. He gave each person a lobster and a large box of crabs raised in the sea water. You can catch them for free. If the temperature is good, you can also barbecue on the beach.“
