„Coogee Bay hotel seems to run the leading restaurants and bars around as well as the casino. We stayed at the more expensive Coogee Bay Boutique hotel, which is behind the building with the noisy bars on a quiet but centrally located side road. A short walk to the beach, everything close by, yet quiet and a clean room. Nothing to complain! “

„The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. “

„I had a small private loft room that was perfect for my budget and needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the linen was good quality. Bathroom was clean. Shower was good. Wifi worked well. The kitchen is very well equipped and kept clean. Plus the location at Bondi Beach is ideal. The city bus stopped very close by. If you want overall great value, this is the place for you. “

„The hotel is located next to the train station and it is no problem to go into the city also for longer stays. The hotel is very nice and the pool and gym are nice extras to have. The room were very clean and big, also the balcony was great to have. A big benefit is also the free washing machine and dryer ironing equipment within the room. „I liked the area close to Bondi Beach The Baxley is relatively new or recently refurbished But was terrible was the size of the room, booked a single , ie. not more than 12 sm like I’m a prison cell. You couldn’t open a piece of luggage!! The insulation in terms of noise between the rooms is miserable. I heard any move the neighbors did, so without ear plogs impossible to have a decent sleep.“
