"Il Querciolo" Apartment "Carnovalino" for 2 people in a farmhouse in Valdichiana, in the heart of Tuscany

"Il Querciolo" is an ancient farm located in Valdichiana. It is a place where you can breathe the "Tuscany" and where you can listen to the sound of nature, it is the place to immerse yourself in country life to give and receive unique and unforgettable emotions. Today it is an entirely organic farm that produces legumes, cereals, oil and Syrah wine. These products can be tasted in our Agriturismo, where the Cellar is also located.



All areas of the farmhouse are shared with guests except for the areas reserved for each apartment which are indicated by a special tag with the name of the apartment itself

We offer a variety of services, all designed to ensure guests have a unique experience in our countryside. Wi Fi is available throughout the property and is free for guests. Electric car charging stations 2 x 7 kW Guests are provided with a card for independent use of the station. Consumption costs will be calculated upon departure. Up to 10 kW, the fixed price is 12. Thereafter, 0.80 per kWh. The Agriturismo's swimming pool (12 x 6 x 2 m) is shared but remains exclusively for the Agriturismo's guests. They can use the pool from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from May to September, depending on the season. Guests have a reserved area at the pool, indicated by a sign with the name of the apartment, where they will find an umbrella, loungers, swing chairs, and a small table. Guests must abide by the pool rules and bring their own towels. If you do not have towels, you can request them at the time of booking, prior to arrival, and they will be provided for your stay at an additional cost. Use of the swimming pool is prohibited to unaccompanied minors. Diving or other dangerous activities are not permitted. The Agriturismo has a laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer, available upon request and at an additional cost. This service is shared with other guests. Pets are allowed, but only one (1) pet per apartment, with a maximum weight of twenty (20) kg. The price for accommodation is 10.00 per night. To make their arrival at the Agriturismo even more pleasant, guests can request a bottle of our own "Occhio di Civetta" Syrah IGT Toscano in their apartment, priced at 25/bottle. Guests can enjoy breakfast in our breakfast room. Reservations can be made online or at the Agriturismo the evening before. The price per person is 12. "Il Querciolo" is located in the open countryside 5 km from Monte San Savino and 2 km from the A1 del Sole motorway exit. Strategic place for visiting the Valdichiana and the most important cities of Tuscany and Umbria. Siena is 30 minutes by car, Cortona 20 minutes by car, Arezzo 15 minutes.

To get to the farmhouse the most convenient way is by car. We do not have a shuttle service to and from the airport and if one is needed it must be requested well in advance in order to organize it. At the farmhouse we have a car park with 10 parking spaces, 4 of which are covered by a roof and 6 are located among beautiful olive trees. In one of the places there is an electrical power socket for normal charging (no fast charging) of electric cars. Il Querciolo is located in the center of Valdichiana, a valley rich in history, tradition and culture, where you can have unforgettable food and wine experiences. Having the Monte San Savino exit of the A1 motorway just 2 km away, this makes its position strategic for planning daily visits to the most important centers of Tuscany. Arezzo and Cortona are approximately 20km away and can be reached in half an hour by car. Siena, Perugia and Florence can be reached in about an hour by car. Just 5 km from Querciolo, there is Monte San Savino equipped with shops, a supermarket, a medical emergency service and a police station.

The farmhouse stands on a gentle hill in the middle of the Valdichiana, among olive trees, vineyards and fields cultivated with wheat and sunflowers. Depending on your needs, it is possible to choose between six types of apartments, created in the ancient 19th century farmhouse and in the annexes, all furnished in rustic style with original period family furniture. The apartments are equipped with every comfort, each with an independent bedroom and bathroom. Guests have access to a swimming pool in which to relax and enjoy unique views and sunsets. The farmhouse is the perfect place for families with children looking for resting, in contact with nature and the real Tuscany. At Il Querciolo you can breathe the history of a family that has loved its land for generations and has remained intimately linked to it. "Carnovalino" is a beautiful ground floor apartment in front of the pool, comprising two rooms and a bathroom. Each room has exposed wooden beams, typical of Tuscan homes. The apartment has a private entrance on the front of the house, overlooking the garden. The house comprises a living room with dining area and kitchenette, an antique fireplace (not usable), and a single sofa bed (suitable for a child). The apartment has a double bedroom overlooking the pool and a bathroom with shower, bidet, and toilet. The furnishings are very comfortable, with original antique furniture. The high bed, typical of Tuscan tradition, is unique and much appreciated. Independent gas heating is provided. The apartment has independent air conditioning in the living room and bedroom to improve comfort in the summer. All windows have mosquito nets to prevent small insects from entering. Guests have a small table and chairs at the front of the house and a large table and chairs in the rear garden, which offers direct access to the pool. The apartment is close to the reception and separate from the main building. Cesare is often at the farmhouse, but if he is out and about on the farm, he can be called on his cell phone. Cesare will be able to recommend excursions, activities or other experiences to do in the surrounding area. There are activities (wine tastings, walks, pizza evening) that can be organized in the farmhouse depending on the periods and in which all guests can participate.
