„Magical, whimsical and everything you could ever imagine! Johan is a fantastic host, you can tell that this is his passion project. We loved the attention to detail on everything. Wish we could have stayed every night of our vacation here. With that said it was the perfect pairing for the night before our visit to Hobbiton. We felt like we truly lived in the Shire and were taking a day trip to Hobbiton! 10/10 we will stay again when we come back to New Zealand!“

„Nette Gastgeber und sehr große im englischen Stil eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr schöner Ausblick über Lake Karapiro. Die Fenster zur Seeseite sollte man aber nachts schließen weil unten der Highway vorbei führt. Zur Gartenseite ist es dagegen sehr ruhig.“

„One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand! Staff were amazing and very friendly. The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground. Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels. Our only regret is not having more time to utilise the kayaks and take in the sights of the river.The house is very modern and comfortable and where very surprised with a well stocked fridge of homemade goodies for our breakfast the next day.
