„After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. „There was no one at the desk when we were trying to check in. There was a line waiting and I called the number shown at the service desk and it just rang back at the desk. I finally called again and the clerk came in from outside. He never apologized for not being there and acted like we were an inconvenience. He was also speaking so softly that he had to keep repeating himself. I have stayed here in the past and never had a problem. I hope the guy was just having an off day.“
