„The cabin was cozy and inviting with so much history, and the grounds are meticulously maintained and absolutely gorgeous. Don was very nice to talk to and we enjoyed the 2 house pups that would let us pet them. “

„Very charming cabin and decorated authentically. We were very comfortable and also treated to an afternoon snack upon arrival as well as tasty breakfast items for each day. We enjoyed a walk down the road by the stream, but unable to canoe in the lake. Our host and hostess were very nice and friendly and very accommodating. Delightful experience. We enjoyed a visit to Bernheim Forest and rode the Bluegrass rail bike in Versailles.“

„This little spot was everything myself and a couple of old friends needed for a long weekend. Very close to major distilleries. Neighborhood was quiet, and the yard spacious. Check in and check out was seamless. Everything needed for the stay was there. I will definitely stay there again!“

„Absolutely gorgeous property!!! The view was amazing, I wish we could have stayed longer to take it in more. The house was filled with such history….there were pictures with info explaining the origin of the home & family. Highly recommend staying here! The hosts were great also!“

"Wunderschönes, großzügiges Hotel. Zimmer groß und geräumig. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Frühstück auch für Europäer sehr gut! Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert!"

"After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. Friendly service, at Dinner time a bit hectic for the reasons mentioned before. Three and a half stars ***1/2* "
