After a day of exploring vibrant Louisville, relax in this Art Deco inspired home with vaulted ceilings, original hardwoods and trim, and abundant natural light. Lounge among sequins, geometric prints, and Tiffany style lamps, an homage to Louisville's part in Roaring '20s history and in The Great Gatsby.

Up to 8 guests. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 queen sleeper sofa!

A classic camelback style home, the 1st floor consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and the kitchen. The 2nd floor has the master bedroom with private en-suite bath. All of our beds are luxurious memory foam mattresses (yes, even the sleeper sofa!).

-- TV ENTERTAINMENT --
No need to squabble over the remote, our home comes equipped with smart TVs! Every bedroom has a TV so everyone can watch their favorite channel without judgement from friends and family.

-- KITCHEN --
The kitchen is fully equipped with all basic appliances and utensils needed for cooking your own meals. We also have a drip coffee pot and Keurig machine - coffee included!

There is no dedicated indoor dining area. The home has a drop-leaf dining table that can seat up to 8 people. The outdoor deck also has a covered dining area.

-- OUTDOOR LIVING --
There is an expansive yard and deck attached to the home. Both the yard, deck and outdoor dining area are available for guest use! Outdoor games are also provided (cornhole, kanjam, pong).

Please note: During the spring, summer and fall seasons, we have a bi-weekly mowing crew come out to clean up the yard. There's no set time as they fit the visit into their schedule, this usually takes up to 30 minutes. You are welcome to continue sharing the space during this time!

We allow up to 2 dogs! The house is dog-friendly and the back yard and deck are completely enclosed. Dog bowls, furniture covers and towels are also provided! When booking, please provide information on the number of dogs as well as breed. We have the following dog specific rules:
- No dogs on uncovered furniture. Please use the provided furniture covers
- Dogs must be crated when left home alone. Leave dogs unattended at your own risk.
- Pick up after your dog and dispose of dog bags in our trash can
- Unregistered dogs are subject to a minimum $150 fine
- Breed restrictions may apply

We charge a one-time non-refundable $50 pet fee. The fee goes toward additional cleaning effort and is passed directly to our cleaners.

1. Our neighborhood, Phoenix Hill, is a diverse and eclectic neighborhood right south of NULU/East Market District. As an up and coming neighborhood, some streets are not well lit and there are commercial areas interspersed. While very safe, some might prefer calling a rideshare or taxi.
2. This property requires a $250 security deposit. It will be collected separately by the property prior to check-in.
3. There is no dedicated dining area. We have a drop leaf dining table that seats eight. Eight chairs are provided and it takes minimal effort to set up.
4. There is not a lot of counter space in the kitchen. We have a coffee cart that can be used for additional prep space.
5. We recommend that guests use G-Maps Street View to learn more about the neighborhood to ensure it will fit the needs of your stay. An exact location is provided once booked -- please reach out with any questions.

The vbro was very nice; had many convenient items (like spices, shampoo, cream rinse, etc), plenty of towels, washer and dryer. I had to contact the owner once who could not have been nicer and took care of the issue within an hour. The location was great with everything within 15 minutes. The weather was cold and windy so would definitely came back to this area when the weather gets warmer. It seems like a great city with some really cool neighbors. Overall, the vrbo was excellent and I would recommend.

Thanks for a clean, comfortable and cool place to return to each day to rest up and plan the next days adventures. Everything we needed was provided. Had a glitch with the door lock upon our arrival but received a text message right away and were able to get in. We had a wonderful stay.

Giving a review, but we didn't really stay at the property. The owners were great and communicated well with us, but they're out of town and did not realize some issues at the property. When we arrived, it was dirty and the bathrooms seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was a smell upstairs like a dog had made a mess previously (it is a pet friendly property). We actually chose the property for our stay because it had a fenced in backyard where our small dogs could run, but the fence had multiple gaps / missing boards where the dogs could escape. The owners were surprised when I connected with them just as we arrived, allowed us to cancel, and we sent them pictures of the issues so they could resolve. It's a great property in an up and coming part of the city and they handled it well for us - seemed more like local property assistance had let them down. My assumption is with those things taken care of, this would be a great property to stay at in the future given its location and amenities, as well as the responsiveness of the owners.

The house was great, everything you needed and more. Pet friendly...my dog had a backyard plus easy walking around the neighborhood. Location...minutes away anything you want to do. Parking was either in front of the house or along the side street. Easy access. Highly Recommended! We will be there again....

We had a group of six stay here for a three day bachelor party. The neighborhood did not look great when we first arrived, but we had zero issues and never once felt unsafe once we got settled in. We walked everywhere we needed to go, including downtown Louisville, multiple times. The house was perfect for a group our size. We utilized the back yard, which did have a lot of poison ivy in it, but while we were there a lawn guy came by and removed a bunch of it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient, the house was big for the price, and the experience was great.

The house was exactly what my dad, brother, and me needed for our trip on the Bourbon Trail. We were easy walking distance to the vibrancy and great restaurants of NuLu, while being in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts had everything stocked and ready for a multiple day stay, with everything you need and nothing you don’t. We would definitely stay here again.

Louisville is an old city that doesn’t swallow you up with gigantic buildings. The shotgun houses are part of the uniqueness of Louisville and it was fun to stay in one. The beds are very comfortable and the house is clean and nicely decorated. Do not plan to cook while here. The kitchen is galley-style so go enjoy the restaurant scene! While close to everything, we chose to drive everywhere and had no issues with street parking.
