Fantastic would book again

This property was the best in our budget, property was very clean, bed was comfy for 2. Seemed secure neighbours are nice. Full kitchen amenities and shared washing machine / dryer downstairs was handy so we could pack light and wash our clothes. It was noisy at night as we had to keep the window open to cool the room down. Fans are provided though but no AC. I did see that people complained about parking space being tight. But we had a 2024 hyundai santa fe and parked fine. Could easily get a pick up in there, you just need to turn around in one of the vacant spaces and reverse in, feel like people just dont know how to park haha. Other than that theres no complaints, locations great with in n out down the road, pit fire pizza is also really good, venice is like 10 mins in the car. Really good spot to base yourself for a trip Key less entry was really handy you just have to remember the door code

Decent place

The place overall was nice, updated and comfortable, it wasn't the easiest to find, although there were in instructions on how to accesss the parking off an alley, it wasn't easy to find. When we left and came back we use the house right by the alley's entrance to find it again. The alley was a tight squeeze and only one car up and down it at a time, if you car is bigger than a small SUV don't think you'll be able to use the parking it is extremely tight with a pole right there and there are huge dumpsters sticking out. I needed to use the wifi while I was there and the password that was left didn't work. I really needed to access my computer on the internet for work, but had to use my phone which did work for what I needed. I attempted to contact the owner, who apparently doesn't exist except through a company. And the company who sent me over 6 texts about the property did want two way communication. That is why I marked them 4 stars. Heaven forbid the place caught on fire, or I found a homeless person living there, I guess they don't want to hear there is an issue. Also bring your own coffee pot, I went to make coffee, there is coffee grounds, coffee maker, creamer and sugar and even coffee filters but absolutely no coffee pot in the unit. Whats the point.

Best value for this location near Santa Monica But…

Best value for this location, But be prepared to sweat if you come when it’s warm as we did in August (note 2 other reviewers said the same thing during their stay in August.) This is a well organized corporate group, and I recommend they buy a standalone air conditioner that they can put in when the apartment is too hot. Also, the parking is very difficult to drive into if you have a large vehicle as we do. All things considered, you get what you pay for, and this is the lowest price for this location.

Clean, Close and Easy to Get Around

We enjoyed this place very much. We spent a week in LA and were very happy with how easy this apartment was to find, use and branch out from. Your only a few minutes away from Venice beach, a grocery store, major freeways for getting to places like Disneyland or six flags. Our only comment is that there is no AC(which we knew about going in) and it was quite a hot week with tons of walking so our evenings back at the apartment were quite warm. Amazing nighttime taco a block away at the corner of Washington and S Centinela 10/10 would stay here again!

Place was very clean and tidy but brutally hot with no AC. Parking was just awful and I think they should warn that if you are driving an SUV it is close to impossible.

So much potential, but a lot of work

The floors were so dirty that the bottom of my feet were black within minutes. Luckily, there were cleaning products, and I grabbed a floor towel to wrap around the Swiffer Duster mop (no Swiffers on the mop or in supplies), and I washed the floors. I found a fan in the closet and saw how caked with black that was, so I used the broom and the towel and more product to make that presentable. It left a dustpan full of black dirt, which I left for the cleaning people to see. I have allergies and am just recovering from Covid. Would be good to assure high cleanliness in this time. I'm not used to not having air conditioning, and, while the apartment did cool down in the evening, the traffic noise did not allow for peaceful sleep. I moved the fan to the bedroom .. would be good to have 2 fans there. The TV setup, allowing sign in to streaming services was great! The kitchen appliances worked well, and the apartment is large and comfortable. The host responded immediately to my needing help understanding the codes for the doors (laundry and entry), and told me where to find the fan. The under-building parking was great..just know you have to lug your stuff up a steep flight of stairs to get to the Unit. All in all, it was just okay.

Convenient location with great amenities

This place was great! It was in a great location, on a busy road but no sound made it to our apartment at all. Lots of restaurants/stores around or within close proximity. Parking, which is super helpful for this area, is pretty tight but we were still able to make it in and out in a very large suv easily! Everything we could have needed was provided, including coffee! Couch is pretty uncomfortable but there are cushions around that you can use.

Convenient and clean

We stayed for 2 weeks and already know the area. It’s convenient for getting to Santa Monica, the beach and of course further. Washington Boulevard is a very busy road, it can be noisy. As are the neighbours at times! The place itself is very clean and well put together. The bed is small though and there could be more equipment in the kitchen. And an iron and irking board! Leaving a voicemail was the best form of communication and the 2 problems we had were attended to immediately which was great!
