Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended
After a long flight, we arrived at New London Los Angeles Airport and chose an airport hotel. Once we collected our luggage, we contacted the hotel so the shuttle could pick us up. Unfortunately, we waited over an hour, although the transfer takes only about 10 minutes — far too long after such a tiring journey.
Upon arrival, we checked into our room but had to change it immediately due to ants in the living area and bathroom. This was very disappointing.
The breakfast was very good considering it was included. There was a wide variety: fruits, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, sausages, toast, and bagels. The breakfast service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and fast — the highlight of our stay.
On the first day, we left the hotel at 9 a.m. and returned at 5:30 p.m. Our room was still not cleaned. We reported this and were promised it would be done immediately. After an hour it still wasn’t cleaned. Reception insisted otherwise but offered cleaning again. While we went out to eat, we returned after 1.5 hours — still no cleaning.
This was exhausting, especially when travelling with a child who needed a shower and bed. The receptionist showed little willingness to help. Due to the long shuttle wait, ants in the first room, and the poor cleaning service, we cannot recommend this location.
