The room was in moderate condition. There were weird stains on the bathroom ceiling I took photos of. And the carpet (floor) was very dirty, ( not with crumbs or debris, but actually dirty with dirt.
The water pressure in the sink was quite low. And when I went to take a shower around 11pm the water was lukewarm. I actually had to step out and phone the front desk to ask if there was a trick to the lever to summon the hot H20, and the gentleman advised he would "reset" it, and to give it 15 mins or so.
Thankfully, after 15 mins the temp began to increase and eventually reached an acceptable temperature.
That being said, the staff was incredible. "T" the gentleman working graveyard was very courteous and as previously stated resolved the hot water issue. He was apologetic and solution-oriented. Friendly and warm.
As was the front desk agent who checked me in, the housekeeper who promptly responded to my housekeeping request for an extra towel. The tissue box was empty, not really a big deal, and the bathroom lacked a bathmat.
The super comfy bed was very well made, the sheets crisp and clean and the tuck nice & tight.
For an older property it did show its age, but I've seen worse (DoubleTree Whittier) at others similar in age.
If asked I'd rank this property a 6/10 for the condition, and a 9 /10 for staff/guest experience.
Overall score 7.5; primarily falling just a tad short (due to aesthetics) of what I expect of a Hilton property
