DO NOT BOOK — Unsafe, filthy, and run by a bot
This was hands down the worst rental experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was a nightmare. We were stuck outside for almost 30 minutes because no one would buzz us in, even after following the host’s instructions. A random resident eventually let us into the building.The unit itself was disgusting and unsafe:•Mold everywhere (including one bathroom that was completely unusable)•Dirty dishes in the cabinets•Dust-filled vents•Bug infestation on the patio•Loud music blasting through the night•A broken bed•Not enough towels and no towel racks•A microwave that didn’t work at allWe reported these issues right away, but the host and their assistant stopped responding entirely while we were still there. We contacted VRBO support, and even they agreed the conditions posed health and safety concerns — we’re now due compensation, but the host continues to ignore us.To make things worse, we keep getting automated, copy-pasted messages offering compensation in exchange for a 5-star review. It’s obvious this listing is being run by a bot or AI, not a real person who cares about the guests’ experience. I gave the host multiple opportunities to rectify this experience to avoid having to post this review, but here I am. This place should be removed from the platform. Avoid at all costs. The pictures included don’t even do it justice.
