„Everything about this stay was wonderful, Sandy and John were lovely hosts, the grounds and location absolutely beautiful and a "labor of love" clearly. Our pup was totally welcomed and we equally enjoyed being on the property on the screened in porch or outside grilling and visiting the area, neighboring towns and the vineyards. „It was a clean, small farmhouse a few miles from the Mohegan Sun Casino. It had a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, so everything we needed. It also had a nicely equipped kitchen although we didn't use it. The best part was when we got up in the morning the owners were outside tending to their farm animals (sheep, goats, chickens, roosters, and pigs) and were as gracious as could be, showing us around the farm and then left us on our own to hang with the animals! „Nice place for a couple days to take a break from the city. The bottle of wine with plenty of chocolate treats were a pleasant welcoming gift. The queen size bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the place nice and cool. The winding staircase leading to the bedroom though was a bit of a challenging surprise--especially if you needed to visit the bathroom on the ground floor during the night.
