4/10 – Schlecht

We stayed at this holiday let on Edgware Road and had a mixed experience overall.
On the positive side, the location is very convenient. There are bus stops and a tube station nearby, making it easy to get around London. The neighbourhood has a distinct character, with a strong Asian and Arab presence, and plenty of small shops and restaurants to explore. There are also supermarkets within walking distance, which is very handy for longer stays. The flat itself is quite spacious and generally well set up, with everything you need in terms of basic facilities.
However, there were several downsides that significantly affected our stay. The property feels very worn and poorly maintained, with a generally grubby atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was visible mold in all of the rooms, which is a serious concern. We also encountered a problem with termites that quickly appeared whenever food was left out, which made it difficult to relax or eat comfortably in the flat.
In addition, the area is located on a busy main road, and noise was an issue throughout our stay. With a hospital nearby, sirens could be heard frequently throughout the night, making it hard to get uninterrupted sleep.
In summary, while the location and size of the flat are definite advantages, the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and noise levels make it difficult to fully recommend without improvements.
