We stayed at JAM for 10 days to explore Lisbon. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
We had to wait for checkin longer than expected so we got a voucher for three drinks at the rooftop bar. In our room one light was broken and fixed within the next hour.
The hostel is located quite good. You can reach Time Out Market or LX Factory within a 20 minutes walk.
The only thing that was a bit unnerving was the breakfast. You had to book breakfast slots in before so we had the time slot between 9 and 10.
There wasn't place for 3 people. All tables were either occupied or left with tons of used plates from the people before. They were clearly understaffed and besides, there wasn't much food left. On two days the coffee machines were broken.
We told the staff from JAM when we departed and they told us that breakfast was made by another company and not by the hostel itself.
On our last day we came to breakfast at 7 and then everything was good, but that was just because of early morning.
On whole JAM ist a really nice place to stay with nice people, a nice rooftop bar and pool. The rooms were cleaned everyday and with regard to the ecological approach they choose it was very very good.
