„Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall, ...

„Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig, dennoch nur ein Fußmarsch von 10-15min vom wunderschönen Städtchen Windemere entfernt. Das Haus ist für 6 Personen eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt , nur leider war das Internet/Wifi zu schwach. Dieses Ferienhaus können wir in jedenfall weiterempfehlen“

„Amazing bungalow in a lovely quiet area. Beds were so comfy I didn’t want to get out ! There were toys for the children, a jigsaw for the grown ups, dog treats and poop bags if you had a dog. We had crisps and biscuits left out for our arrival. What a nice touch. The hot tub was amazing, we didn’t want to get out of that either ! The only downside was we weren’t there long enough to enjoy it all. “

„We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!“

„This property is OUTSTANDING. Utterly beautiful, amazing location, a real show stopper. I booked this as a surprise for my family and they were blown away. The views were just amazing and the house itself is so grand. The garden is lovely to sit out in and enjoy. There's also a fantastic walk in the woods just at the back of the property so you can get stuck in straight away without having to worry about parking. We can't wait to visit again.“

"The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet connection broke down every night. The location is great, but there's some work to do to bring it back to its standard. "
