Gemütliches Häuschen in historischem Lewes Delaware

Dieses kleine Häuschen ist perfekt für zwei Erwachsene, ein perfekter romantischer Kurzurlaub. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Queensize-Bett, im Erdgeschoss befindet sich der Hauptraum, eine kleine Küche und ein Badezimmer. Das Haus ist von wunderschönen Gärten umgeben und sehr charmant mit einer eigenen Terrasse zum Essen im Freien. Das Haus des Besitzers befindet sich ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück. Beobachten Sie Ihren Kopf auf der Treppe. Das Ferienhaus ist nicht für Kinder oder Tiere geeignet. Die historische Stadt Lewes ist nur 6 Häuserblocks entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es viele gute und abwechslungsreiche Restaurants. Der Strand ist fünf Autominuten entfernt. TV und WLAN sind vorhanden.

Peaceful Weekend Getaway

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend in Lewes! House was perfect, clean, and in the best location. We were close to local restaurants , shops, and beaches and went everywhere by foot! Cottage was exactly as expected and we hope to visit again soon!

Attention to Detail

Everything about this little gem is done well. The house is impeccably kept and welcoming. The host thought of everything one might need from tissues to coffee to scissors to guide books to make this a home away from home on a vacation stay. Perfect for two- comfortable in winter and well located for a walk into town for excellent breakfasts and a walk along the shore.

This charming cottage is welcoming, cozy and comfortable,even during cold December weather. It was wonderful to be able to walk through Lewes' downtown area and residential streets and see the beautiful holiday lights and decorations. Loved my visit!

Beautiful garden, relaxing home

Many fountains, flowers and birds. The cabin was spotlessly clean, deliciously comfortable, and well-equipped. The best of Lewes is in walking distance. The host answers any questions you may have within 15-20 minutes or so. A lovely and convenient vacation spot.

Cute cottage in a great location

This property is in the historic district and close to restaurants and the parks. Well maintained property with a nice patio in the back. Hosts were very attentive. Lots of local information was in a notebook. It was a great help. This house could be a challenge for some older couple particularly if they are tall. The stairwell to the bedroom has a sloped ceiling. Unless you are short you will have to duck your head. Overall it is a nice little cottage. Our hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

Charming cottage in a lovely garden

The cottage is charming and full of light, and is outfitted with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The garden with its patio and fountains is a special treat. It is wonderful to be within a short walk of downtown Lewes and yet still be in a quiet location, and just off the fantastic bike/walking paths. I have stayed in this cottage a few times and am already looking forward to my next opportunity!

Amazing Little Cottage

Couple’s Retreat

This is such a beautiful and quaint cottage! Perfect for a couple or solo traveler. The photos don’t do it justice. There’s a reason why it has a 5-star rating and is fully booked for the entire summer season. It is very comfortable and well maintained. We had a great time staying here. The cottage is super clean and well appointed. We enjoyed using the outdoor patio space for meals. It was also nice to have two separate toilets. :) The kitchen refrigerator is small, so there’s limited food storage if you plan to cook a lot. But, with so many great restaurants and a local market with pre-made food nearby, there’s really no need to do much cooking. The Keurig was also well stocked for coffee lovers. As others have shared, the cottage is on a busy street and if you leave the windows open you can be awakened by trucks that start driving the road early in the morning. But with them closed there is little noise. The bed was also a bit stiff for my liking, but the pillows and duvet comforter were super comfy and soft. I hope we have the chance to return next summer!

Great location, away from the crowds of downtown but still in walking distance to everything. The garden surrounding the property is stunning and reinforces the coziness of the Cottage itself. We stayed at this beautiful cottage celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and wow, what a gem. A magical and beautiful short walk to town. Easy street parking with a a side gate entrance. Quiet and super relaxing, the gardens on the property are breathtaking with a quaint sitting area. Holly had an amazing bottle of Pino Noir waiting for us as we arrived. Super clean and the bed was heavenly. Every detail mastered! An upstairs bathroom was a cute added surprise! We can not wait to go back! Thank you so much Holly!
