Park Hotel Silemi

"The Park Hotel Silemi is a nice little hotel right on the beach with only 48 rooms. Everywhere it is very clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. We had an oceanview room with a big balcony, which I highly recommend. You can sleep with the sound of the waves even if the balcony door is closed. The room is quite big with lots of storage room. The bathroom is also a good size. The shower is on the small side as there are special shower nozzles in one corner along the wall which take up about 1/3 of the shower. All the furniture in the hotel is a little older but still in good shape, but we think it gave it its special charm and it didn't bother us at all. The breakfast was outstanding! Everything you can ask for(Toast, bread, buns, croissants, cereal, homemade cake, eggs, cold cuts, cheese etc) except the coffee. Italy is famous for its coffee from portafilter machines and so getting coffee from a fully automatic coffee machine in the morning was a little disapointing. The pool is quite big and was very warm in September. Many of the beach chairs along the pool were damaged / broken, so they should be replaced. What we found a little strange are the opening hours of the pool: 9 am until 6:30 pm. It is really a shame that the pool closes that ealy as it would be nice to go for a swim after a day of exploring. The beach is very narrow and rocky, but with water shoes no problem. The ocean was also very warm. We would return anytime and can highly recommend this hotel"

"Wir waren hin und weg! Das Zimmer im 5. Stock hatte eine tolle Terrasse mit Ausblick auf die Bucht, zwei bequeme Liegen waren dort (nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt dazu - genau neben uns war sie Rooftopbar, wo die ganze Zeit Musik abends spielte, wo die Box direkt an der Trennwand war),. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Klimaanlage war leise, das Bad gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Parkservice für das Auto für 25 Euro funktionierte optimal. Der Pool ist herrlich mit einer tollen Aussicht, frische Handtücher stehen zur Verfügung. Das Frühstückwird im 4. Stock serviert, so dass man auch einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bucht hat, es ist vielfältig, frisches Obst, Kuchen, verschiedene Brote. Ins Zentrum sind es ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt"

"Wir kommen wieder! Trotz der Größe des Hotels und der vielen Gäste ist die Anlage sehr angenehm und ruhig. Sie ist wunderbar grün und wie ein kleiner Park aufgebaut. Schwimmer und Sportler kommen voll auf ihre Kosten. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht und haben gerne in den Restaurants a la Carte gegessen.. die Pizzeria ist auch toll und perfekt für einen Snack zwischendurch."

"eine etwas in die Jahre gekommen Unterkunft. Mit hervorragendem Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse. Frühstück war herausragend und die Lage des Hotels mitten in Amina gelegen, mit der mit dem Blick auf die Bucht und dem Ätna war sehr schön."

"Schöne ruhige Lage nur 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt...ganz in der Nähe ist ein herrlicher Park. Super Frühstück mit frischem O-Saft. Allerdings kostet das Parken vom Auto € 25/Tag. Das sollte bei den teueren Zimmerpreisen inklusive sein."
