„The owners of the property carefully thought through all the amenities provided. We had what we needed for a very comfortable stay. We didn't think we needed an old school arcade until we had one! Place was wonderfully decorated, felt very welcoming. Communication with owners was easy. Only thing I didn't quite anticipate was the high deposit and how long VRBO holds the deposit before refunding back (14 days). Other than that, we hope to return when we're back in the area.“

Unfortunately it was misting outside so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit, but still got to enjoy the hot tub! Great hosts, easy to check in, very accommodating! Definitely would recommend! „This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. „This home was great as a base camp for our travel through local history in the region. It was convenient to Lancaster County proper, Lititz, and Gettysburg. The home allowed us to relax in the evenings with quiet time and provided us a chance to hit the day running with eggs and sausage for breakfast.
