Welcome to Bali’s Cottage, our cozy Poconos home in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates.

Bali’s is a comfortable place for families, couples and friends to spend time together while enjoying Lake Wallenpaupack and the Poconos. Guests especially appreciate how clean and well stocked the cottage is, the comfortable beds, our outdoor spaces and the little essentials we provide to make settling in easier.

Fall is a beautiful time to visit. Spend the day exploring the Poconos, hiking, visiting nearby Hawley or enjoying the Lake Wallenpaupack area. Then come back to Bali’s, grill dinner on the deck, relax around the outdoor propane fireplace or gather around the backyard wood-burning fire pit.

Bali’s Cottage has:

• Bedroom 1 — Queen bed
• Bedroom 2 — Queen bed
• Open upstairs loft — Two full-size beds
• Two full bathrooms

The open loft also has its own sitting area, giving kids or teens another place to relax.

All beds are made before arrival and bath linens are provided. Central heat and air conditioning extend throughout the cottage, including the loft.

A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER

The main living room has comfortable seating and a Smart TV where guests can sign into their own streaming services. Wi-Fi is provided.

There are books, board games, checkers and chess for quieter time at the cottage.

The kitchen table comfortably seats six using the two additional folding chairs provided when needed.

A WELL-STOCKED KITCHEN

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, crockpot, regular drip coffee maker and Keurig.

We provide starter supplies including regular and decaf K-cups, tea, creamers and sweeteners, along with basic kitchen essentials such as salt and pepper, foil, plastic wrap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, paper towels and garbage bags.

A few complimentary snacks and bottled waters are provided for your arrival. Selection may vary.

THOUGHTFUL EXTRAS

We know it's easy to forget something when packing.

A selection of starter toiletries and commonly forgotten personal-care essentials is available for guests. We also provide toilet paper, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths.

Please bring your own beach and pool towels. Cottage bath towels are intended for indoor use.

ENJOY THE OUTDOORS

The front deck has a propane grill and a four-person outdoor dining table, plus a separate seating area with a two-person sofa, two teak chairs and an outdoor propane fireplace.

The deck furniture, grill and propane fireplace generally remain available through the end of October, weather and safety permitting.

The backyard also has a wood-burning fire pit for evenings outside.

Keep an eye out for the local wildlife—deer are commonly seen around the cottage and throughout WLE.

Please note that the cottage’s indoor wood-burning fireplace is not available for guest use.

WALLENPAUPACK LAKE ESTATES

Guests receive six WLE amenity badges with their stay.

Depending on the season, schedule and community operations, WLE amenities may include indoor and outdoor pools, beaches and lakes, playgrounds, courts, game room, fitness facilities, adult lounge and community activities.

Please note: WLE owns and operates all community amenities. Hours, seasonal operations, activities, maintenance closures and availability are determined solely by WLE and are subject to change. Bali’s Cottage provides eligible guests with the required amenity badges but cannot guarantee that a particular community amenity will be open or available during your stay.

PERSONALLY HOSTED BY LISA & BAKER

Bali’s Cottage is personally hosted by us, Lisa and Baker. We do not use a property management company.

We communicate directly with our guests before arrival and are available if questions come up during your stay. We also have a trusted local contact nearby should an on-site emergency arise.

Our goal is simple: provide a very clean, comfortable cottage, clear information before you arrive and thoughtful essentials that make it easier to settle in and enjoy your time away.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

Maximum occupancy: 6 overnight guests.

Location: Bali’s Cottage is located along the main community road near WLE’s second entrance. Traffic is more noticeable during summer and during morning and afternoon hours. The off-season is generally quieter.

Walking: Several WLE amenities are relatively close to the cottage; however, community roads are narrow and do not have sidewalks. Guests should decide whether walking is appropriate for their family.

Entry: There are five steps to reach the deck and cottage entrance.

Accessibility: An outdoor elevator may be available for a guest who uses a wheelchair with advance permission and arrangement. A portable shower chair is also available. Please contact us before booking if you would like to discuss a specific accessibility need.

Pets: Bali’s Cottage is not pet-friendly due to a severe allergy. Service animals are accommodated as required.

Security: A Ring doorbell camera is located at the front entrance. There are no cameras inside the cottage or in private guest areas.

Fishing: A Pennsylvania fishing license is required when applicable.

WLE requirements: Guests must follow WLE registration, vehicle, amenity and community rules. Required information and paperwork will be provided before arrival.
