Dieses zweistöckige Haus befindet sich in einem Wäldchen mit immergrünen Pflanzen, nur 800 m von den Gondeln Big Springs Express und Highlands im Village at Northstar entfernt. Es ist auch nur zwei Meilen von der Northstar Golfcouse, acht Meilen von der Innenstadt von Truckee und acht Meilen von Kings Beach am nördlichen Ufer des Lake Tahoe.

Das NPOA Recreation Center mit ganzjährig geöffneten und saisonalen Pools, einem Sommerkissen, Whirlpools, einem Fitnessraum, Tennis und einem Spielzimmer ist 800 m entfernt und bietet gegen eine geringe tägliche Gebühr.

Instructions help!

Vacasa claims they sent an email with notes on amenities but it never came through. Only negative of this property is Zero on site instructions. No binder, no labels, nothing. Garbage note said “Take to North Star dumpster without a map or location of dumpster. One of the toilets might be the lowest toilet ever made so a bit inconvenient for a group of over 50 but all over 6 feet tall! Otherwise nice home, nice location. Bring your own ice if you’re into cocktails!!

Perfect stay for weekend ski trip!

This cabin/lodge was PERFECT for our skip trip at Northstar. The shuttle comes right in front of the house, so it saved a lot of time trying to get to the mountain. Lots of space, very clean, and check-in/check-out process was easy as can be. Would absolutely come back for our next ski trip!

The cabin is very nice and the location is excellent with a really easy shuttle service that stops right next to the cabin and takes you directly to the gondola. The cabin was not well equipped and we expected a much higher standard for the price we paid (no coffee to use with the coffee machine, no equipment to start the fireplace, some of lights were not working, etc.). The part that was most disappointing was that there was no flexibility at all on the checkout time - we asked if we can checkout a bit later, and they mentioned that we have to leave at 10AM sharp, we then asked if there is an option to checkout at 10AM and leave the car at the driveway for a few more hours so that we can use the shuttle and ski for another day, and we mentioned that we will move the car out before the next group checks in during the early afternoon, and received a reply that we have to move everything including the car out of the property by 10AM which was really frustrating.

Wouldn't stay here again, needs a deep cleaning!

Upon arrival I called the management company to advise that the downstairs bathroom handle was broken, it didn't open from the inside, so we couldn't use it without leaving the door cracked! A very kind maintenance person called me back and said someone would come in the morning. Nobody called or followed up after that, we were there 4 days. The reason we won't be back, the cabin is dirty. There is dust on most surfaces and mice poop scattered about, including the kitchen. I have photos I will share with management. I moved the ottoman and there was like a years worth of crumbs under it, gross! The cabin is in a great location and is a good size for family but it's dirty. The TV in the living room (right when you enter the cabin) hangs super low, like not even 2 feet off the ground. This was super odd to us, if you have little kids, it would be impossible to keep them from putting their hands on it. Our annual Truckee trip won't be spent here, unfortunately.

Great house for family and access to Northstar

We stayed for lunar new year and enjoyed the house greatly. It is well-located for access to Northstar as the first stop coming to/ from the village on shuttle buses. There is lots of room and the kitchen is well stocked. Everything was comfortable and clean. The lights didn't really work the way they should in some of the rooms and we couldn't figure it out at all over the pool table - may be a maintenance issue. But that's a small thing for what was an overall excellent stay.

Great Northstar home

We enjoyed staying at this charming residence. Conveniently located, we were always 1st stop on the shuttle route :) We were expecting a jacuzzi onsite but it is located at the rec center so that was a little disappointment. There were no salt, no oil, ...completely empty refrigerator and pantry. But otherwise very well equipment kitchen. Overall, we would love to go back. Thank you.

My wife and I came to Northstar with our son and his fiancé to preview their wedding venue (the Zephyr Lodge) and do food and cake tastings plus a day of skiing. We were joined by my son’s future father-in-law and his sister. The home accommodated all of us very comfortably.

Beautiful home but a bit worn

This roomy lodge was clean, bright and airy. The patio and BBQ were the perfect way to end our days spent on Boca or Tahoe. Easy walk to pool, gym and spa complex that was a great option during our holiday. Carpet was worn and stained but I give it 4 of 5 star rating overall.

We had a great time at this house. It's nicely poisoned close to the shuttle stop. It's well equipped, nicely designed with large bedrooms and very functional kitchen and living room space.

Nice place for a big group for a reasonable price.

This property is located in the Northstar Resort less than a mile from the base. We stayed here during the summer; so didn't benefit much from the awesome location. However, I could imagine that ski season this would be an awesome location. The development is heavily wooded; beautiful area. The inside of the house is clean and well kept for the most part. The carpeting is starting to show that this is a rental property, but other than that the place is in good shape. There are lots of pots and pans, etc. in the kitchen and plenty of clean towels to go around. If you shop on the way, don't forgot toilet paper and paper towels. They have enough to get you started, but it won't last more than a couple of days. Overall, good experience and solid communications from Vacasa along the way.
