„Our stay at the GrandWest Arashiyama was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean, reception was incredibly helpful, and the location was quiet and idyllic. During our stay we made the most of the amenities including free refreshments, a washing/drying machine, and a cute cafe situated just downstairs from the hotel entrance. Our stay here was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Japan and I highly encourage those visiting Arashiyama to consider this hotel!“

„Klassisches hochwertiges Hotel alter Schule. Etwas älter aber sehr gut gepflegt mit hochwertiger Einrichtung. Etwas außerhalb aber sehr gut per U-Bahn zu erreichen. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen!“

„wir haben 2 Nächte im Motonago sehr genossen. Das super gelegene Hotel ist traditionell japanisch mit Tatami-Matten Boden, Futonbetten, kleinen japanischen Gärten, geteiltem japanischen heissen Bad, hervorragendem Essen und sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal.“

„First of all I have to say that the staff were some of the best I ever had in a hotel. They were especially helpfull with arranging our luggage to be sent to Tokyo which worked without any issues. The hotel is right next to the subway station so going around Kyoto is easy. The room was quite spacious and modern and the bathroom was the best on the whole trip.“
