Welcome to The Anchorage. Nestled in the charming coastal village of Kingston in South Devon, The Anchorage is a beautifully refurbished stone-built vacation home offering the perfect blend of comfort, character, and location. Whether you're seeking a beachside getaway in the summer or a cozy winter retreat by the open fire, this delightful home is your ideal base.



Inside, the cottage welcomes you with a light and airy interior. The first floor features a comfortable living room complete with a smart TV with internet viewing, a bluetooth record player and a Sonos system, with the warmth of an open fire for those cooler evenings. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area include an electric oven and stovetop, a combo microwave/oven/grill, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and clothes dryer – everything you need to feel at home. There's also a convenient first-floor bathroom with stall shower and toilet.



Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms: two with queen beds and a third with three twin beds, perfect for families or groups. The main bathroom offers a bathtub with shower over and a toilet. Modern comforts such as electric central heating, Wi-Fi, and bed linens are all included, and a travel crib is available for young families.



Outside, enjoy a peaceful morning coffee in the small enclosed front yard or gather for a barbecue in the grassy backyard, which comes with patio furniture. Please note, the backyard has a steep slope and drop, so supervision is advised. Logs for the fire are available locally, and street parking is available very nearby.



With golden beaches and secluded coves nearby, and miles of scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, The Anchorage offers a perfect escape for hikers, beach lovers, and anyone looking to soak in the beauty of the South Devon countryside. A traditional pub is just a quarter of a mile away, with shops two miles from the property. Non-smoking throughout, this peaceful haven invites you to relax and explore at your own pace.
