„Das Haus ist schön gelegen direkt an der Flussmündung. Dadurch konnten wir jeden Tag auf unser SUP solange die Gezeiten dies zuließen. Das Haus entspricht den vielen Bildern, sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber gepflegt. Das Gartenhäuschen ist auch ein weiteres Schmankerl, um näher am Wasser zu sitzen. Vor der Anreise bekamen wir ein sehr ausführliches 24-seitiges PDF mit Kontaktdaten, Adresse, Zugang zum Haus, nächster Supermarkt, Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten, etc. Muss man nicht ...

„I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back.“

„Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Nettes kleines Örtchen, kurze Wege zum Strand/Küste. Uns hat v.a. der Garten mit Blick auf das Meer sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und wirkte auf uns sauber und gepflegt. Die Hausherrin war über E-Mail jederzeit erreichbar und machte einen sehr freundlichen und bemühten Eindruck. Wenn noch eine Geschirrspühlmaschine da gewesen wäre hätten wir fünf Punkte vergeben.“

„Everything was simply perfect. It all started with our outstanding landlords Rob and Sian, who were so warm, welcoming, easy to contact and gave so many helpful recommendations. We loved Pipers Cottage and the surrounding landscape from the very beginning. The cottage is decorated in such a homely way and well equipped, especially the kitchen. „Cottage was a very good base for exploring places in Dartmouth. Clean and tidy cottage. Cottage itself had everything we needed. However the cottage could've done with a bit of a make over. Pictures on walls. End of bath. Bedlinen . Bed was comfortable. There was a little hole in the window in the bathroom. Also when you got in the shower you overlooked a public footpath. „Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The view is breathtaking and if you catch a sunset even more so. The accommodation is fine if a little worn around the edges but no big deal. The only things to point out to potential guests is that the WiFi is very slow even by Hope Cove standards. Not sure if there was an issue with it but something to be aware of.
