„Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Einsame Hütten wie ansonsten nur aus Filmen bekannt. Den Abzug gibt's ausdrücklich nicht für die Unterkunft selber. Man sollte aber zu der Umgebung wissen, dass dort wirklich rein gar nichts ist. Eigentlich genau was wir suchten, aber das gilt leider auch für Wanderwege, die man mit dem Auto anfahren muss. „Very clean and comfortable house on the Kaweah River. The house is about 15 minutes the Sequoia Gate. The house was very nice…not a deal breaker but there is no dishwasher. It was just my husband and i but if there is a family that’s quite a bit of dishes to wash. Again, great house. “

„House was ready early for us to check in as soon as we got into town. We loved the location! Close to restaurants and grocery store and only 15 minutes to Sequoia Park entrance, which was our reason for coming. Hot tub was perfect after daily hikes. “

„We had a great stay in Three Rivers. It's a charming little town with good food and beautiful scenery. The cottage is right on a river behind the large main house. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and the 2 bedroom set up worked great for our family. The cottage was clean with an open kitchen and a good mudroom with laundry/dryer. It was hot outside but the cottage stayed nice and cool. Not really good access to the river on the property but it had nice views of the water.To get to Sequoia ...

„Great little cabin. Loved hearing the river nearby. Small, but well equipped kitchen. We brought food that we were able to reheat and enjoy in the evening after visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The air conditioner did a nice job keeping the cabin cool, despite temps getting up into the triple digits during our stay. Easy parking just in front of the cabin. “

„We had a bit of trouble as we entered the property and had to unlock a large chain to drive down the path to the house. So after multiple tries and then waiting to hear back from the host or property manager who was nearby we were able to get in. The problem was that the key code had gotten changed, but the materials sent to us by the host was the old code. The good news was we got in! “

„We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. „Super cute cabin to stay in and come home to relax in peace after long days in the park. Some bugs in the cabin and lizards all around it, but you’ll have that in the country! Was a little disappointed, the ponds aren’t as advertised for fishing as they are not maintained and one pond isn’t available unless you rent the specific cabin close to it. Overall we had a blast though and the bed is comfortable. “

The outdoor shower was a great touch, and swimming in the chilly mountain river was peaceful, especially with no one else around, giving us a sense of seclusion.
