Vorstellung des GPA-Fischers! Süßer Strandbungalow mit 3 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern und ist haustierfreundlich (gegen Aufpreis erlaubt). Das Haus liegt im Herzen der Outer Banks in Kill Devil Hills und bietet einfachen Zugang zum Strand, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und zum Nachtleben. Es liegt günstig in der Nähe des AVALON BEACH KITTY HAWK BAY Boat Access. Nur 1232 Fuß zum Strandzugang. Ihre Ferienwohnung erwartet Sie!

Dieses Haus hat einen offenen Grundriss mit Küche / Esszimmer / Wohnzimmer. Die voll ausgestattete Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit allen benötigten Geräten und einer Island Bar mit Barhockern. Ein schöner Esstisch bietet Platz für vier Personen und kann sich bis zu sechs erstrecken. Es gibt zwei Sofas im Wohnzimmer, eines ist ein Queen-Schlafsofa. Sie genießen den großen Flachbildfernseher und den Gaskamin (saisonal geöffnet). Im Flur befindet sich ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche. Es gibt eine Tür für den inneren Zugang zum Wasch- / Trockenraum im Erdgeschoss. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit Duo-Bunks und Flachbildfernseher auf der rechten Seite. Auf der linken Seite befindet sich die Master Queen Suite mit einem kompletten Badezimmer (Badewanne und Dusche) und einem Flachbildfernseher.

The property was in great need of repair and)or updates around. Especially the TV instruction and internet. 2 1/2 days of the seven without TV was not acceptable. There was a special movie room downstairs which was not utilized as much as we wished. When rented knew it was a home you could have your pets at but did not think pet hair would be everywhere. One of the sofas had to be covered with a set of sheets daily to sit on it. There were several items in need of repair....and the railing to downstairs was extremely low( within code?) walking was difficult. The neighborhood was nice, quiet. The Costal Shores company was so great.... answered questions quickly and got items taken care of. It was a nice location to the beach and activities.

Perfect house for the beach

The stay was amazing. The house had what we need and plenty of space for myself, partner, and dogs. The movie room was a nice bonus space to have! Sheets were provided but towels were not, so make sure you bring your own towels and all other consumables and toiletries.

Great vacation at a reasonable price.

The property is a little dated, but it was clean and the rental agency was easy to deal with and addressed all issues we had. Location is right in the thick of things in the outer banks. Would recommend to stay at this property.

Nice stay even with the issues

Overall, a fine rental property with fine amenities. The only issue we had which we found upon arrival was the pet hair that was along the tops of the sofa backs unfortunately making the living room off limits to some of our family who have allergies. Considering the added cost to bring pets it was presumed the additional price would be for any pet related cleaning that would be needed. Our 2 little dogs while hypo-allergenic still remained throughout our stay fenced in the dining room area or on the outside deck, with fencing we brought with us, requiring no additional clean up beyond the sweeping we did before departure. While we were partially reimbursed for the issue, we felt that our total pet charge should have been waived.

This property was a great value for our family. It easily accommodated our family of 6 and our small dog. The movie theater was a big hit and still can walk to the sunset. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and some basic pantry items would have been nice. Overall. a great week for our family and appreciative of the time we were able to share!

Long walk

When we arrived found master bathroom was not cleaned very well, and the walk to the beach you had to cross over the main highway. Had to drive wherever we went. The maintenance guy that came and worked on the fridge was very nice.

2022 Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in the OBX. Beach fun and lots of attractions. The house we stayed in was smaller than the photos online made it out to be, but we did well all together in the home. At home theater was great! Very good time having “movie nights”. However, the description of proximity to the beach was misleading as it involved crossing a very busy 4 lane highway. Not an ideal situation with a three and five year old in a safe way, so we needed to drive each time we went to the beach. The house was not as clean as I would have thought. Lots of spills down the fronts of cabinets, lots of grease in the kitchen and dust throughout. I’m a clean freak and this didn’t seem up to par especially when you’re being charged a cleaning fee and being asked to sweep, clean counters & pick up before leaving at the risk of an additional fee! 🤷🏼‍♀️ All in all, it was a fun time but if we were to come back we would try to be closer to the beach.

Cute home but very dirty

In a quiet neighborhood that was nice for walking the dogs. They have a luggage lift that was extremely helpful for arrival and departure. For our group, the beach was not close enough to walk. We stayed late in the season and we found the floors, rugs, and furniture to be extremely dirty. The floor needed scrubbing! The throw rugs needed washing and the furniture professionally cleaned. I called the management company early in the week to advise them about the condition of the house. I hope they took appropriate action.

The Neighborhood Cottage Experience -

The Neighborhood Cottage Experience - The Cottage was well equipped for our needs, located in a friendly neighborhood with easy walking to the Kitty Hawk Bay which has a nice multi-use paved wide path. Outdoor elevator - great for moving bulky items to the 2nd floor, living level Nice deck for your meals or own happy hour which we enjoyed Two bikes available to ride the neighborhood and to the nearby Kitty Hawk Bay Keurig was a plus and they had an espresso machine as well as a traditional coffee pot Plenty of kitchen equipment, but bring your own salt and pepper The main living area (kitchen, dining, living was nice and open lots of space, and included a desk which was a big plus. The first floor theater movie room was excellent, a big selling point for us. While they have a lot of DVD's, if you have a favorite movie you want you want to see on a big screen bring it. Seemed very clean overall and functional. We are always pleased when we find a good rental where we can have our dogs who appreciated the sandy backyard and good neighborhood to walk in.

We enjoyed the layout but were surprised at the disrepair of the interior

We enjoyed staying in the house. It’s location between the ocean and the sound was great. The kitchen was well appointed. However, both couches in the living room were covered in cat hair and dander. With two of us allergic to cats, we had no seating in the leaving room besides a rocker. The first impression wasn’t great with a large gaping tear in the screen door along with rips in window screens. Almost a third of the curtain rods were broken and hanging down. The overhead fan/lights in two of the bedrooms didn’t work. We enjoyed the media room. The property needs to be repaired of such obvious cheap materials and the furniture in the living room needs a thorough cleaning or replacement. I understand pets are allowed, but there needs to be an effort to really get rid of previous pet hair after each visit. Also, this is the only house I’ve ever rented (over 15 so far) in OBX that didn’t supply at least some toilet paper in the bathrooms. It seems like a little thing, but it’s much appreciated when you first arrive after a long drive and you haven’t been to the store yet.
