„I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food.“

„The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals. The tasty breakfasts were cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients. There was a small but pleasant garden with suitable seating areas. The staff were always welcoming, helpful and friendly. „We were made to feel very welcome. The room was well equipped but had character. Continental breakfast was available or a cooked breakfast could be ordered. We ate our evening meal in the pub. We were well looked after. The menu was more than traditional pub fare with plenty of specials. The portions were generous, attractively served and delicious. We would definitely stay again. “

Ein Hotel für die Tauben

"Das Zimmer war an sich sehr gut. Sauber und groß, auch das Badezimmer, und das WLAN war schnell. Aber man muss taub sein, um da schlafen zu können. Es war sehr laut. Die Wände waren wohl dünner als die Papierwände in einem japanischen Haus. Ich konnte meine Nachbarn besser hören als mich selbst, obwohl sie sich eigentlich nur normal unterhielten. Ich werde nie wieder da übernachten."

"I was a little bit worried about having booked a room without windows but let met tell you it was great. The rooms are in great conditions and clean. The hotel is located perfectly for a city or football trip. For this price the hotel is a bargain!"
