„I stayed at The Stables from a Friday night to the Monday morning in November 2024. Bill and Sarah were warm and welcoming both on the phone, giving me good directions and in person. Our stay was comfortable, the cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped and well situated for visiting local sights. „Perfect accommodation for a short break. Upstairs is decorated to a good standard in modern style. Everything you need. Kitchen/lounge/diner area. Very cosy and relaxing. Quite big bedroom with double bed and comfortable mattress. Downstairs at bottom of stairs is the toilet and a wet room with shower and under floor heating. Lovely and warm and nice decor. We used the accommodation for a two night stay so we could visit family nearby. Absolutely ideal. Just friendly and helpful. Thank you. “

„We have stayed at slightly cheaper locations, but none as nice as this. With only a microwave in the kitchenette, it would be a challenge to cook a decent meal when the weather isn't nice (we were lucky so able to make use of the bbq).The wood-fired hot tubs were lovely though, as well as having the peacocks wandering around our feet when chilling on the deck with a glass of wine.
