„Very quiet place. Clean, gorgeous view. I arrived during a storm. Manager drove me to my cabin. Internet was down due to the storm, manager gave options for emergency calls, if needed. I was spending some time alone and was not seeking social interactions. Mission accomplished. “

„My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy.“

The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger. The incinerator toilet is interesting but works just fine. “
