„This was the perfect getaway for my kids, and I. Pool and lake access was perfect; the hot tub was awesome as well. Definitely recommend this for a relaxing getaway.“

„A very clean and modern cottage in the hill country. Quick and effective communication from the owner. Bonus points for having an attached covered parking spot!“

„Great place! Had a great time. The river access was key. Spent both nights eating at Howdys. Great food and atmosphere. Nice little lake. Caught some bass. Definitely recommend for a hill country getaway. “

„No complaints. This property was planned to perfection. Cannot wait to go back!“

„Fantastic location. Great kitchen, bathroom and rooms.“

„The setting of this cabin was very peaceful and beautiful. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable. I would use caution with young children, though. „My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3.“

„It was nice except for the couch bedI/wecoudnt get it to go back in after use. It was also pretty uncomfortable . That said, they were very responsive would recommend“

„Absolutely by far the best decision we ever made was to book this cabin. Cabin was clean, hosts met me and showed me around and gave me fresh free range eggs for breakfast. I spent the majority of my time sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch with my dog and enjoying nature and the wildlife. I was sad to have to come home! If traveling the the Mountain Home/Kerrville area, Cowboy's and Angels Retreat is a must stay!“
