„Very "basic" lodging close to airport. Google Maps is accurate. Small room but very clean. No aircon but ceiling and standing fans. Very nice staff. There's a TV but it's not plugged into any cable or satellite box (at least mine wasn't). You could plug in your laptop if you have an HDMI cord. Good WiFi .Good hot water. No bottled water or bathroom amenities to speak of. Basic breakfast brought to your room. It's quiet. It's inexpensive. It's safe. It supports a local small business.“

„Eine gut gelegene Unterkunft, die vor allem mit einem sehr guten Service und top Essen punktet. Wer ein super modernes Hotel will, ist hier sicher falsch. Wer aber ein solides Hotel sucht und für ein paar Tage Nairobi erkunden will, wird hier glücklich werden. Erwähnt sollte noch werden, dass die Umgebung muslimisch geprägt ist und sich eine Moschee in Sichtweite befindet. Insgesamt liegt das Hotel an einer belebten Straße mit einem Krankenhaus gegenüber. Haben uns aber nie unsicher gefühlt. “

„Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya ...

„This is a hidden quiet gem in the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. A lovely property with beautiful garden at the end of an embassy lined street close to Karura forest. The inn has five bed rooms with ensuite bathrooms and provides a delicious breakfast as well as other meals which can also be enjoyed on the porch, don't be surprised by monkey sightings :). „ This place has no contact on their web and no clear sign showing where it is if it is there! My lyft driver and I when to the location on the map only to make circles. We even ask and nobody seem to know anything about it. We headed back to the airport where I spend the night sitting down.“

„It was simply amazing - a beautiful place and the attention to detail in the accommodation is excellent - we just had a wonderful time and Raymond and the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. "Bedauerlicherweise vor Ankunft schon stressig mit dem Hotel gehabt, dass gleiche nochmals bei der Abreise. Man bekommt leider keine konkreten Antworten. Buffet ist unterirdisch. An 2 von 7 Tagen gab es garkeinen. Getränke nur im Glas, weshalb man nicht mal Wasser aufs Zimmer nehmen kann. Die Mitarbeiter flirten stark,obwohl man mehrmals gesagt hat, dass man es nicht möchte. Datenschutz nicht vorhanden, überall und für alle einsehbar liegen Zettel mit persönlichen Informationen herum. Strand ist schön "

"The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and encouraged. My room was clean as well but could need a renovation. The breakfast wasn‘t fancy but more than okay. The price-performance ratio was totally fine. The only thing what bothered me was the very poor WiFi. Altogether I got what I was expecting and had a nice stay at this place."
