„We loved everything about this place. Sleeping in the super comfortable bed with the windows open to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, the awesome shower, the views, the kitchen, the decorations, the pool, walking to an amazingly picture perfect cove a few houses away, the kindness of our hosts (they set out a bottle of wine for our stay, gave excellent suggestions on places to see and dine and let us pet their sweet cats). „This was one of the best vacation properties we have ever enjoyed. Beautiful home with everything and anything one could possibly hope for. Neat and tidy as a pin, we opened all the windows and sliding glass doors to let the warm breezes and the sounds of the waves run through the house. Just amazing. The beach is 10 feet off the house.“

„What an amazing house!! Our stay could not have been more perfect, the house was so clean, in an amazing location, and so well stocked. We were able to cook every day, use surfboards, boogie boards, bicycles, snorkels, beach chairs to enjoy the beach, Micheal and Leila have thought of everything! They were available for any questions and made us feel really welcome.Our teenagers loved the outdoor shower and bathtub. Our family will definitely be back! “

Her thoughtfulness really enhanced our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!“

„The house is very spacious and exactly as depicted in the photos. We had a lovely stay and the property manager was very responsive. There was a small hiccup with check-in (the address listed on the listing map was not the address of the house), but it was fixed right away. We would most certainly stay here again!“

„We stayed with our adult children and their partners for just over a week and it was a great place for the six of us. Kitchen was well outfitted with all you need for cooking including a blender and even a rice cooker, though strangely no microwave. Plenty of beach towels and a washer and dryer too. We very much enjoyed the place.“

"We can really recommend the Nene Nest. We felt so comfortable that the only negative thing we can report is that we only booked 10 days (our mistake ;-)).The Nene Nest is exactly like in the pictures, but more beautiful. Melissa and Kyle have a great knack for decorating. The furniture is, unlike so often in other vacation rentals, high quality and carefully selected. The beds are fantastic. There are plenty of wardrobes and chests of drawers. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The cottage is in a quiet area. Yes, the ubiquitous chickens start their “chatter” really early, to be honest we didn't hear it from the third night onwards.Thank you Melissa for letting us call the Nene Nest our home! Whenever we go back to Kauai, the Nene Nest is our first choice."
