Kanaloa bei Kona Wunderschöne Ocean Front Condo !!

Kanaloa at Kona wird von vielen als das schönste Resort an der Küste von Kona angesehen. Es befindet sich an einem alten Lavastrom, der etwa 800 m in den Ozean hineinragt und das Resort vom Lärm und Verkehr des Alii Drive trennt. Der Eingang erfolgt durch eine ruhige Wohngegend. Alle anderen Resorts der Stadt liegen direkt am Alii Drive. Das Resort ist wunderschön gepflegt und liegt in einer ruhigen, friedlichen 16 Hektar großen Gegend, die vom Golfplatz Kona Country Club im Norden, dem Ozean im Westen und der ruhigen Bucht He'eia im Süden begrenzt wird. Alle Aktivitäten der wunderschönen Keauhou-Bucht sind zu Fuß erreichbar, und das Keauhou-Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt, Drogerie, Notfallversorgung und vielen Geschäften und Restaurants ist weniger als 800 m entfernt. Aufgrund des integrierten Designs und der geringen Dichte des Anwesens hat es das Gefühl von "Old Hawaii", im Gegensatz zu Eigentumswohnungen oder Apartmentblöcken mit ein paar Palmen.

Das Resort ist eine Wohnanlage mit drei schönen Pools, die jeweils mit Whirlpool, Dusche und Umkleidekabinen ausgestattet sind, zwei beleuchteten Tennisplätzen, sechs Grillplätzen und einer Rezeption mit einem sehr hilfsbereiten Concierge, der Ihnen zur Seite steht. Das am Meer gelegene Restaurant Kanaloa at Kona ist wieder für Sie geöffnet und bietet gehobene Küche am Meer in Keauhou am Wasser. Es gibt genug Weltklasse-Strände entlang der Küste, um jeden Tag einen anderen zu entdecken!

Die Wohnung wurde im Jahr 2015 aufgewertet und im Jahr 2018 neuer Teppich installiert. Die Wohnung hat auch Gewölbedecken in jedem Raum, die ihm ein sehr großes offenes Gefühl geben. Es gibt drei Lanais in der Einheit.

Die geräumige Haupt-Veranda liegt direkt am Meer neben dem Wohnzimmer und die beiden hinteren Veranden befinden sich neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer und dem Gästezimmer mit Blick auf die Berge. Wir halten die Wohnung mit Schnorcheln, Masken, Flossen, Boogie Boards, Schwimmern, Strandtüchern und einem Kühler bestückt, damit Sie Ihren Urlaub beginnen können, sobald Sie einchecken!

Sie haben mehrere Restaurants. Sie können Mahlzeiten mit Platz für vier Personen am Glastisch im Speisesaal genießen oder Ihre Mahlzeiten direkt am Meer auf der Haupt-Veranda genießen. Sie können auch am kleinen Tisch für zwei Personen in der Küche speisen.

Die geräumige Küche bietet den Gästen alle Annehmlichkeiten und Geräte, um Gourmet-Mahlzeiten direkt in der Wohnung zu erstellen. Schränke aus hawaiianischem Koaholz, Fliesenböden und Arbeitsplatten aus Granit ergänzen diese große, offene Küche mit vielen Schränken zur Aufbewahrung.

The condo was very comfortable and had very good air conditioning also. The neighborhood is very nice with 3 pools and tennis courts practically right outside your door. The space is designed nicely so you do not hear the people below or beside you. 3 lanais ensure you can get alone time or share dinner outside without leaving home. We had a great time!

The view from the lanai was wonderful. The ocean side pool was gorgeous. Lots of space, laundry was nice, used beach chairs and coolers. Problems with appliances, the dishwasher, toilet and icemaker was mouldy. The place really needs a deep cleaning.

Having a place to stay that you end up calling home. Perfect. When you need to relax and get away from the daily chores and shovelling snow what a beautiful place to go. It takes a few days to get into a routine, but, then a new day started with a swim, touring the country side, coming home to a hot tub, and then relaxing with different view of sunsets. Wonderful, a must place to relax.

Our family absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect; quiet and away from the strip. The condo was as described and clean, everything needed for our stay. If we ever find ourselves back in Kona we would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this place is 5 stars :) very clean and comfy , great location to lots of stuff we had something to do every day . Quiet , beautiful neighborhood we went for a run every morning . We sat at ocean side pool for sunset a few nights and saw several whale every time . There’s a cute little coffee shop about a mile away we walked to every morning . Several great dining options to all very close . We will be back for sure .

What a great place this is. The location is so amazing. Sitting out on the Lanai each morning and watching the waves crashing on the shore and the little birds singing their songs is the only way to start each day. The inside is very nice and so well equipped with all the little things you need. Everything was very clean and looked after. The only thing I didn't notice in the description is just the one TV in the living room, but no matter it is such a great place and I will definitely be coming back!!

It surpassed my expectations. Felt so private and yet so convenient to everything we wanted to do. Sitting on the main deck watching the sunrise and again in the evening listening to the surf and the birds was truly special.

Our family stayed at this lovely condo for 8 days in July/August and were impressed with the quality of furnishings, upkeep of the condo, and spectacular view. We paid for A/C and it kept the condo perfectly cool! The owner was also very responsive whenever we contacted him. If we ever come back, we would love to stay here again! Absolute paradise!

We stayed for a week. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai while watching people fish, swim and, when the tide was high, just listening to the waves move over the rocks. We saw sunset every night from the deck of the ocean pool and the air conditioning was a real plus for us! Our family had a wonderful time. It’s located close to lots of fun things to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Property is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, but the location makes up for it. The unit is located less than 3 min drive from a shopping center with everything you could need, including a grocery store and some great restaurants. Unit is located in quiet area that is close to snorkeling excursion pickup points, snorkeling beaches, and swimming beachs. The beach shown in the listing pics was within walking distance but was rocky and was rough while we were there. It wasn’t great for swimming, but we saw people snorkeling there. It was great drinking coffee on lanai and listening to/seeing the water. AC was must while we were there in July. Condo complex and pools were nice.

I’d like to make a review . we got here Saturday approximately 3 PM. Checked in without any issues but got inside the condo and it was hot. Very hot in here. This is not a central air conditioning unit. It has an individual units in the living room. It has a unit in the bedroom and one upstairs that you set to its own thermostat, it did seem to cool down relatively quickly after a couple hours. I just don’t understand why somebody couldn’t walk over here from the front desk and turn things on knowing that we were due here any hour . It does request that you take your shoes off, and we do take our shoes off at home, but this did not look as though it was as clean as it should be. The amount of dirt and debris on the ceiling fans was disgusting. I would not suggest turning them on. They haven’t been cleaned. mini cobwebs in the corners of the higher ceilings Upstairs, there are two single beds. Who ever is up there’s gonna be in a single bed. The bathroom seems to be riddled with termites as you can see the termite droppings from bathroom door, the molding and all of it being eaten away by termites. The upstairs actually had a sock left to the right of one of the twin beds, obviously from previous occupants. As far as towels, kitchen towels ..bathroom towels there are not enough towels here for six people if that’s who you plan on bringing six people you will not have enough towels or hand towels or kitchen towels. . Nice location, but disappointed in stay as the unit is really old and tired. Chipping paint, stained carpets, old furniture and decor. Mismatched towels, bedding, dinnerware. Fire alarm didn’t work and basic essentials missing. Images on listing show queen in loft, but it was two twins. Says sleeps six, old mattress in closet. Had to wash sheets as they smelled like mildew. Responsive host.

Great location, beautiful views, needed deep cleaning, updates and really not room enough for 6 people even with 2 small childten. Overall we loved the place with the 3 pools, close to stores and restaurants. The grounds and pool area were spotless including the gas fireplaces for bbqing. We would go back to this place. We loved staying at this property! The views off the main lanai are incredible - there is a lovely cove where you can listen to the ocean and birds singing while drinking your morning coffee or sipping your evening cocktail. There is tons of room, the condo was very clean, the beds comfy, and the air conditioning kept us cool. Not only that, but the entire property is really lovely and away from the hustle and bustle of town, so you are close to amenities but far enough away to feel like you have a peaceful setting. And there is an incredible ocean front pool that our kids played in every evening (and it offers incredible sunset views). Thank you, thank you, thank you to the property owners. We would love to return.

The unit is second floor, more stairs to living area and another set to 2nd bedroom. Our group was all over 65. 2nd bedroom wall is also open to living room below, so not much privacy. Appliances are old, stove did not work very well. The complex is nice, mostly quiet and great views. Really enjoyed the ocean pool and the condo lanai.

Our November stay was fantastic. Owner and manager were super in multiple ways. Our unit was close to two pools and had a very nice bay view. The kitchen was well stocked. A bonus was three air conditioners for our use as needed. We look forward to returning in the future.
