„The Hungry Trout Resort is a classic place to stay if you are interested in fishing the Ausable River. Very convenient with private access to the river. The fly shop on premises is excellent with great guides! The Pub was great in years past but is closed now. I really hope it reopens. The upscale restaurant is very nice with great views of the falls. Overall a solid place to stay without the hustle of staying in Lake Placid but close enough to go there for dinner.“

„Personal wirklich top- sehr viel Informationen über den Adirondac bekommen, sehr hilfreich. Die Zimmer waren ok, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bad war sehr klein. Insgesamt fanden wir den Preis (294$) für eine Übernachtung ohne Frühstück recht teuer- aber es war Sa-So.“

Room and bathroom were clean and comfy, wifi was fast there were extra pillows and blankets if needed. The area around the Inn is very cute, my girlfriend and i went for a walk in the nearby park in the morning and visited the Inn bookstore (we ended up buying 5 books lol).
