„We had a good stay overall. This is a home at the end of an inlet with a small pier facing the creek. It had a pretty backyard. It is close to other homes but that was okay for us, although some more window treatments in the kitchen and facing the back would be a good option. Home was recently renovated/updated with new kitchen and furniture. Nicely styled/decorated like in pictures. Pictures on listing missing a third bedroom and the second bathroom. „This was a perfect place for our purposes. Lenny and Vicki were very attentive. They came out to speak with us. Explained everything about our stay. The place was close to a lot of things. Food was great in the area.“

House was all on one level which was very convenient for some of the older people. The house was in a great location convenient to the soccer fields and also Colonial Williamsburg. „We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. “

„The house is older. There are several weird step ups in the house and none of us left without having stubbed our toes multiple times. The house was clean but could definitely use a deep clean sometime. It would not be ideal for the elderly and is not handicap accessible at all. „Went to check-in. Didn't have my reservations. Waited 50 minutes before the error was rectified. Turned out main office at Kings Plantation never sent my reservation to the resort. The resort had to message someone due to the fact the main office only is open until 5:00. I had reserved a cottage. This was not a cottage it was more like a duplex. We could here the people next door. The stayed up late and got up early. So we had prolems sleeping. Pool was nice.“

„We’ve reserved the property months in advance and received a confirmation. When we went to check in to the property, the resort did not have a reservation. When I contacted the homeowner, I was told “yes, that is a problem. I’ve been meaning to talk to them about that.“ We ended up not being able to stay there and had to drive three hours home.“

"Negativ: Kein Reinigung oder Handtuchwechsel. Mein Studio war sehr dunkel, nur 1 kleines Fenster zu den Bäumen hin. Mein mußte immer sämtliche Lampen einschalten. Ansonsten alles ordentlich und sauber."

"Overall a good hotel with many facilities and activities to choose from close by. Suggestions to improve: please add some freshly cooked meals to the breakfast containing mainly instant ones. Some scrambled eggs or even just ham/cheese and fresh tomatoes would be great. "

Grand appart, parfait avec des enfants.

"Nous étions avec une ado, donc l'appartement d'environ 100m2, les 2 chambres, les 2 salles de bain et l’espace commun étaient idéales. L’appartement est très bien équipé (gros plus avec machine à laver et sèche-linge dans l’appart et micro-ondes, four, toaster …). Les lits sont confortables. Il y a une terrasse qu’on n’a pas utilisé car dès le matin, il faisait trop chaud. On n’a pas utilisé la piscine ni les espaces communs mais il y avait un programme d’activités qu’on n’a pas eu le temps de faire. Le site est joli, propre, vert, calme. L’appartement est plus fonctionnel que joli. Pour le ménage, vous devez payer un supplément. L’accueil est correct mais pas chaleureux. Pas terrible non plus au niveau des infos touristiques locales. Mieux vaut vous renseigner vous-même. Si vous allez au Colonial Williamsburg, achetez les tickets en ligne, c’est 30% moins cher. Vous pouvez aussi visiter la ville sans billet mais vous ne pouvez pas rentrer dans les maisons. A 1 heure vous avez la plage de Virginia Beach. Faites absolument une sortie pour voir les dauphins. Prenez vos tickets à l’aquarium avec le bateau rapide. Sensations garanties. Prenez la dernière sortie (vers 16.00), il y a moins de monde. C’est légèrement plus cher ça vaut son argent. Il y a pas mal de restaurants dans Williamsburg et c’est magnifique. On recommende !"

"It was okay but we had to move rooms because the first smelt really bad. The pool had a nice size but way too much chlorine. Our eyes were burning without even going under water. Rooms are really dark and you could tell it’s not a new hotel. Staff really nice. "
