We informed before that we arrive around 11 pm. Nobody was available at reception to welcome us and show our rooms. „When we arrived at the hotel it didn't look anything special from the outside. On entering into the small reception we received a very warm welcome and given some local information. We were directed to our room which was very spacious, clean and a nice outlook .
The bed was very comfortable although I found the room warm but my husband slept right through the night, which is unusual for him.
We opted to have dinner in the hotel and although a bit pricy we were very happy with what we ordered.

„Ich hatte Nachmittags eine Tour in der Bladnoch Distillery, die ist auf der anderen Straßenseite, so konnte ich auch die Whiskey Probe mitmachen.
Pub ist nett, bei Sonne kann man auch draußen sitzen.

Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer hatte Dachschräge.
Abends hatte ich hier nichts gegessen, war auf dem Musikfestival in Wigtown, 15-20min zu Fuß, Straße hat Fußweg, ist spät Abends aber sehr dunkel, Taschenlampe leistet da gute Dienste.“
