„Having lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets. „To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. “
