„Excellent hotel. Everything is well laid out and perfectly furnished from the elegant bathrooms to the welcoming rooms. Even the stairs are perfect with their quality wooden flooring. The whole building has a good feel to it.
All the staff were superb. Warm, welcoming and helpful.
The voucher for a cocktail in the basement bar was a delightful surprise. The basement bar with its Saturday DJ may be catering for the younger generation, but it was great fun, even for us with only few grey hairs ...
„Having lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets. The hydration station with cold water is brilliant in hot weather. Dogs love ...
„I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help whenever I had a question. The location is great, very convenient and close to everything I needed. Overall, it’s a cozy place in a perfect spot, and I would definitely recommend it“
„The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals.
Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.
Our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely return.

„Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. “
„walking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. “

„Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room.
This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home.
I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered.
The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable.
The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it.
We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING ...

"Beautifully located with spectacular views over the beach. The roof top terrace is magnificent - more Mediterranean than the English Channel! The rooms are very stylish, the breakfast and evening meal are delicious. And most importantly, the staff are super helpful and friendly.

"Das Hotel sowie die Lage sind wunderschön. Das Personal war weitestgehend freundlich. Das Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet. Das Bad war jetzt nicht auf dem neusten Stand, aber soweit sauber. Die Dusche war in der Badewannenvariante mit Regendusche, allerdings leider ohne Handbrause. Ich würde das Hotel grundsätzlich weiter empfehlen. Im übrigen auch das Essen im Restaurant."
