„Rooms are very comfortable. Nice location just a few minutes walk to beach or high street. Staff always seem to be cheerful here, from check in to breakfast to check out. I've stayed several times.“

„A lovely small hotel in the very center of Canterbury. It is an old, cozy building very well maintained, spotlessly clean and the owners are extremely hospitable. Breakfast included. Beds comfortable and it was quiet, everything was more than I expected and I'd definitively recommend staying there.“

„Having lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets. „Very nice hotel, with a green feel to it. The room smelt fresh upon arrival and we even got a little complimentary welcome cookie. Good service and a very nice roof top view. “

The rooms are very stylish, the breakfast and evening meal are delicious. And most importantly, the staff are super helpful and friendly. I have stayed for pleasure and work in many hotels worldwide and this one ranks very highly!“

„walking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. “

„Lovely, quirky hotel. At the same time tasteful and nice. Great location in Old Town Margate, everything was just a few mins walk or less, shops, bars, beach, seafront. We stayed 3 nights and everything was perfect. Check in and communication from Paul the owner was very easy and efficient. Each room at the hotel is different, ours was split on 2 levels with the bed and hanging space upstairs. Downstairs was a well equipped kitchen and a nice cave-like bathroom with lovely powerful shower. The ...

"Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. "

"Das Hotel sowie die Lage sind wunderschön. Das Personal war weitestgehend freundlich. Das Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet. Das Bad war jetzt nicht auf dem neusten Stand, aber soweit sauber. Die Dusche war in der Badewannenvariante mit Regendusche, allerdings leider ohne Handbrause. Ich würde das Hotel grundsätzlich weiter empfehlen. Im übrigen auch das Essen im Restaurant."
