„Wonderful hotel. From booking in the receptionist had a warm and welcoming smile. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and polite. The food was amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and bar food the second which was good also. Will definitely be back. “

„Having lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets. The hydration station with cold water is brilliant in hot weather. Dogs love ...

„Great location, good design and friendly staff“

„walking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. “

„Fantastic location. Really nicely decorated and has everything you needed. Comfortable bed, lush shower. Host was great, really accommodating, had thought of everything. So easy to get to bars,restaurants, shopping, train station etc, would highly recommend to anyone. We booked the smallest room,and it was perfectly fine as a place to sleep and shower. Excellent stay.“

„Beautiful little cottage, very central to visit surrounding places, for example Canterbury. London is about 1,5 hours away. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable bed. Carrianne and Martin were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the sweets and the bubbly. We would love to come back.“

„Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING ...

„The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals. Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland. "Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. "

"Das Hotel sowie die Lage sind wunderschön. Das Personal war weitestgehend freundlich. Das Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet. Das Bad war jetzt nicht auf dem neusten Stand, aber soweit sauber. Die Dusche war in der Badewannenvariante mit Regendusche, allerdings leider ohne Handbrause. Ich würde das Hotel grundsätzlich weiter empfehlen. Im übrigen auch das Essen im Restaurant."
