„Sehr kleines Hotel, aber darum um so behaglicher und es hat uns super gefallen. Emma (die Besitzerin) kümmert sich um die Gäste, gibt Tips und hat hier eine kleine Oase geschaffen. Das Abendessen ist super lecker und auch das Frühstück hat uns von der Auswahl sehr gut gefallen. Zum Frühstück gibt es kein Buffett sondern man gibt abends vorher an, was man Essen möchte. Würden hier wieder hinkommen, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat.“

„The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna.“

„Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!).
