„The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. This year, the same problem occurred and, while we were at Lochranza, she texted me to check things were ...

Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. „We had a very nice week in this cosy cottage. Although the farm is doing clay shooting and quad tours it is usually very quiet. When we arrived there was a lovely welcome basket with fruits, vegetables and some sweets. What we did not like was the width of the double beds (130cm) but this might be British standard? The fridge could be exchanged as well, as there were no more inserts in the door to place bottles there.“
