„We were very disappointed with the service at this hotel. When we tried to pay during the day, no staff were present at reception. We went to reception several times and I even sat in the garden for an hour on a video call and didn’t see anyone. We assumed we would be able to settle the bill in the morning, but instead, someone came knocking on our door at 10pm demanding payment. „Colonel's Retreat isn't a fancy hotel with a pool. It's in a safe & quiet residential area and it has a "soul". The rooms are a good size, excellent shower and very comfy bed. „This was a great place and location. We loved our rooms with big beds and attached spacious bathrooms. Breakfast aloo paranthas are going to be memorable for life for my foreign children because they were so good and tasty. They cooked with love and heart we could feel. The food we ordered for dinner was good too except one of the curry was extremely hot with chilies even for me who’s a very spicy and hot eater. Need to fix that. „The place is a bit far from the main gaths and turistic atraction and a bit hard to reach (has to be by foot). The staff was nice and the AC worked well in the room which was really good, since the rest of the place was pretty warm. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was not separeted from the rest, which leads to the whole bathroom being wet after showering. The mattress was old and had a whole in the center. Breakfast was OK. If you are not searching for too much comfort, this place is good.“

"Luxuriöses und stilvolles Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Business Upgrade sehr zu empfehlen! Großes Frühstücksbuffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man ist sogar eingeladen, Obst oder Snacks für die Weiterreise mitzunehmen. Das Einzige, was man beanstanden könnte, war der lahme Gepäckservice bei der Abreise und die hochnäsigen Gepäckträger, die einem frech ins Gesicht sagen, wenn das Trinkgeld zu wenig ist."

"This hotel is a good option if you are planning to stay in Aerocity: it has a very good breakfast, and it’s located very close to the Square. They also provide bottled water free of charge, since in general tap water is not drinkable in India. I want to leave a special thanks for Mithun, whom I ran into when leaving for check out. He took care of our room during our stay, and not only the room was spotless, but also he is pays attention to every detail to make your stay more comfortable and pleasant."
