Hundestrand: Touren und Aktivitäten

This Hotel has seen its prime. We have stayed at it since its opening in 2009, at least once a year. We have seen many changes throughout the years, yet people and policies make the difference. We reached the Hotel a bit earlier than the official checkin time. Without asking, we got told in a very rude way, rooms are ready but if we wish to enter them, Euro 30 for an early checkin per room. Kind of funny, we just wanted to drop the luggage. We did leave it at the lobby and returned late evening. Next day we kept the “do not disturb” sign at the door of our Premium room till around 12:00. Shortly before we left we requested that the rooms are being made. Surprise… that is too late as the people left for the day already. (Same person as the early checkin charge). A four star hotel should not have to battle with attitude. This is now a third in a row experience and we believe we will take our business somewhere else. The location gives the hotel an advantage if you like the zoological, it’s close to the highway and for us central enough that previously justified the price… sadly not anymore. The breakfast buffet does not suggest it is a 4 star hotel either.
