„Large, sprawling property with good amenities for wheelchair customers but with long corridors that may be challenging for guests who have other walking aids or breathing difficulties. Excellent breakfast with a good range of hot and cold items and some healthy options. Warm and friendly greeting from staff on arrival. Large car park that empties out overnight but VERY busy on a Sunday morning (extremely difficult to find a vacant space). Easy to pay for parking using a machine in the lobby ...

„Great for one night stay on way north to Glasgow.“

„Outstanding hotel. A real surprise and gem. Fabulous staff.“

„Only a one night stay, lovely place and very helpful, polite staff who seemed like nothing was too much trouble. Excellent“

There were just a couple of small things worth mentioning — the fan in the bedroom was a little noisy, and the window didn’t block out all the light in the morning. But these were minor things, and overall we had a really lovely stay. We’d happily stay here again!“

„Was convenient. The breakfast was not so great but I like the hotel“

„The room was clean and the staff was very helpful especially Barbaea.“

„Do not stay here. Very dirty & lots of spiders“

„Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress. The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage. Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by. Home is clean. Host is good with communication. Definitely would stay again.“
