„A very warm and welcoming house. The sound of the rippling waters was wonderful to sit and listen and watch. Also being able to walk and catch a trout! The house was clean and well presented, everything you want for a comfortable stay and we were very cosy. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Our two labs loved the river and the property as well and we hope to come back again.“

„Although the property seems smaller than anticipated, it was still comfortable. It can do well with larger indoor spaces as the rain over the last couple of days confined us so. The TV reception dropped off a few times and there aren’t enough toilet papers resulting in us having to buy some in town.“

„Mark the owner is absolutely lovely and so helpful! The photo's don't do it justice, the unit is even more beautiful and the surrounding bush is very peaceful. It has everything you need if you're keen to just hybernate for some peace away from work/ kids etc and also lots of beautiful bush tracks and creeks to explore nearby. The area surrounding Jamison is mostly only Telstra reception, but I had Optus reception while at the apartment so that was great too. Wifi is quick and all the ...

„We loved the Miner's Cottage and would stay again, the only thing is there is no internet access if you do need it. Also you need to bring your own shampoo as this isn't provided.. It may be a good idea to take some bottled water as you have to boil the water before you can drink it. Other than that we loved it, Andy was very friendly, the Cottage was lovely the bed was really comfortable, lovely walks along the river, we didn't want to leave.. „I found the place based on the map provided on Stayz, the owner never gave the address so it was a little hard to find. The queen bed in the second bedroom is broken and unsafe to sleep on so we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. No dishwashing soap provided at all yet check out instructions requested for all dishes to be washed. The location to mountain entrance is excellent and it was nice to see the kangaroos in the morning.“

„Stayed for 2 nights with the family (wife and 2 kids). We enjoyed our stay and easy to go find where to play snow ski and the stores. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We definitely stay again in the future.“

„Beautiful position amongst the trees in Sawmill Settlement. The house is a really cool design and build and bathrooms are lovely. The kitchen is modern and very well stocked with utensils and kitchen equipment. I meant to leave a note for the owner that it appears queen bed in room without the ensuite may have broken slats on the bed as the couple in that bed said they kept falling into gap so might be worth checking. Would be lovely base for hiking too.“

„Quiet and easy to get to summer venue. Delatite river down the road, runs parallel to main roadway to Mt Buller. House is a good setup with two separate toilets and two showers and four basins in separate bathrooms. Newly renovated bathrooms and toilets. However rest of house was cosy, if a little outdated. Two levels with bedroom at the top. Stairs maybe ann issue for mobility. Owner’s communication was excellent and things like extra set of keys and hot water unit fault was easy fix and ...
