„This amazing house was ideal for 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. There was plenty of room for all of us and having the extra living room with TV meant we weren’t under each other’s feet all the time. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s a great place for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island and further afield. We went to Berwick on Tweed and had a great, value for money, lunch at Limoncello, 3 course lunch for £6.95 would definitely recommend. The coffee shop next ...

„Everything there you need for a stay, everything works as it should. The fence is painted with tar so it smells not good if you sit outside. Inside theres a lot of room freshener which you have to love otherwise its uncomfortable. The WLAN was very good. Its a little bit old fashioned but clean and working. We felt a little bit disturbed by the loud lawn tractor that provided bad air when we were having breakfast on the terrace. A good point for starting to activities all aound the sorrounding ...

„Lovely, clean property in a great location. Everything as expected and house nice and warm. Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. Other than this, everything great and would recommend property.“

„We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future.“

„The House was very clean and tidy. We were eight persons and had enough space. The surrounding is very nice and you have a spectacular view to the sea. Berwick with various supermarkets is near by and you get easily to Edinburgh and Glasgow by train. We‘ve enjoyed our trip.“

„I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents who are in their eighties. Everything is on one level so it was perfect for them. I was able to park close by which was a bonus as they have a wheelchair. It’s a beautiful place to stay if like us you just want to be able to have a holiday which is accessible. Lindisfarne is a stunning island to visit and although we didn’t go off road they thoroughly enjoyed their short break here. If you’re a walker you couldn’t pick a more perfect base.“

„Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended.“

„Lovely room location great. The only complaint is the housekeeping as coffee wasn’t replenished at all and the water on one day. Bed wasn’t made at all. The Joiners Arms was nice breakfast on the last day was a bit short staffed as was busy and only one person serving and items needed replenishing mainly bread.“
