„Fantastic comfortable hotel - Lovely, tastefully decorated rooms which were warm, cozy and spacious . The staff were fantastic and friendly and extremely informative and helpful . We enjoyed our meals in the bistro including breakfast in 3 mornings and an evening meal - the food was delicious and every attention to detail was given. We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay and will definitely book again when back in Northumbria!“

„Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt an einer Durchgangsstrasse, aber sehr schön mitten in einem Wandergebiet, sehr ruhig. Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr gut. Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Der Abstecher hat sich gelohnt.“

„We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. A simple fix, but certainly worth it. I didn’t have much hope for the breakfast, not sure why, but it was ...
