A light blue exterior, multi-level home with several covered balconies and surrounded by tropical landscaping Island Retreat is exactly what its name suggests – a beautiful island getaway perfect for a tropical, sunny, and smile-filled vacation.

When you arrive at Island Retreat, you’ll notice the vibrant colors of the home and the greenery that surrounds its perimeter. Just a few minutes walk to Holmes Beach, you’ll smell the fresh ocean air and feel the sea breeze on your skin. Though you will walk into Island Retreat through the ground floor, the main living space is on the second level. This area is bright as it is filled with natural sunlight from its several windows, updated with luxury-style features, and beautifully decorated throughout.

The kitchen is massive and features sweeping granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tons of storage space, and a kitchen island with a bar for three. The dining room is just beyond the kitchen and offers a bar-height table with eight chairs. The living room, adjacent to the dining room, is cozy and has a couch, matching loveseat, two leather armchairs, and a large flat-screen TV. Access to this floor’s balcony is in the dining space through a set of French doors. It’s a spacious balcony with views of the backyard and stairs that take you to the ground floor.

This luxury amenity provides you with high-quality Comphy linens; including bedding, bath towels, washcloths, and beach towels that are in place and ready for your use upon your arrival. These high-quality linens are washed in a commercial setting using the latest and best technology.

While on the linen program, there is still a washer and dryer in the home.

Exterior

The first floor and backyard are what makes Island Retreat truly wonderful. First, there is a game room with a ping pong table that guests can use on the ground floor. Second, just outside there is a tiki bar area with a kitchenette and seating for five as well as two full-sized outdoor dining sets and a grill. Additionally, the private, heated pool is roomy and offers in-water seating and an in-water sundeck. Finally, there are several lounge chairs on the paved deck surrounding the pool and the backyard has an array of beautiful plants that really make you feel like you are living the island life! Island Retreat is conveniently located near the northernmost end of Anna Maria Island. It’s just a few minutes' walk to Holmes Beach and the Gulf of Mexico, close to tons of local shops and eateries, and near a drawbridge that takes you onto the mainland. These countless amenities and Island Retreat’s many five-star reviews make it easy to see that this rental is a dream spot to spend a much-needed Florida getaway!

Our pools are heated during the months of November through April at no additional charge to our guests. We do not heat the pools during the warmer months of May through October. If you are renting between November and April and you would like to have your pool heated, we kindly ask that you contact Beach House Real Estate at least 10 days prior to your arrival. Pools are heated to a temperature of 82 degrees. However, please be aware that even in Southwest Florida we do occasionally get cold spells. This will cause the pool water temperature to drop down into the 70's and a pool pump will automatically shut down if the outside temperature gets too cold. When the weather gets warmer and the pumps are able to re-engage, please be mindful that re-heating of the pool back to 82 degrees may take several days depending on the severity of the cold spell. Ultimately, these situations are beyond our control. Other issues such as severe weather conditions, equipment malfunction, temporary loss of use of equipment or amenities due to maintenance purposes or other items do happen from time to time. All of our pools and pool equipment are closely monitored by the pool companies. For your safety, we kindly ask that the controls not be tampered with -most of the systems are locked for this reason. Due to the island's strict 10pm noise ordinance, the pool heaters will not run overnight. Please remember, outdoor spas are not hot tubs and will not reach the 100+ degrees of a traditional hot tub, but will remain at the same temperature as the pool. Please be aware that Beach House Real Estate does not issue refunds based on acts of god. However, please know that in the rare event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Beach House Real Estate will do everything in our power to expedite repairs as quickly as possible as we certainly want you to enjoy your heated pool and Florida sunshine to the fullest extent possible!

*Please note: you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. This property requires a 7-night minimum stay as set forth by Holmes Beach’s Land Development Code. Occupancy may not exceed 10.
